A series of metal ion complexes of some divalent transition metal ions having the general composition [ML2Cl2]nH2O with 2-(benzo[d]thiazol-2-ylamino)-2- (5-chloro-2-hydroxy phenyl) acetonitrile ligand has been prepared from 5-chloro-2-hydroxy-benzaldehyde and benzo[d]thiazol-2-amine. Existence of cyanide as potassium cyanide in acidic medium was considered, characterized by elemental chemical analysis, conductance of molarity, magnetic susceptibility measurements, FTIR electronic spectral studies and mole ratio method. FTIR indicates the participation of amino and acetonitrile nitrogen which is coordinated with the central metal ion.

The relationship between the clinical singes and some of the hematological and biochemical values in 126 cases of local breed and Shammi breed goats (from both sexes) diagnosed as cases of malnutrition from 230 goats examined .The clinical examination include (beside the general inspection and case history) body temperature, respiratory and pulse rates, mucus membranes skin and coat. Examination of the blood samples included RBCs count, Hb concentration, PCV % and values of cupper, magnesium, phosphorus, and potassium. The experiments were conducted in laboratory conditions of a temperature of 25± 2C and relative moisture of 40± 5 % to evaluate the effectiveness of the cinnamon, lavender and clove essential oils on some biological life aspects of cowpea beetle, C. maculates. Results of the obligative experiment for the effect of the oils on insect adult killing showed that the concentration of 5% caused a mortality percentage averaged 13.33% of the insect males. The mortality percentage of the insect females was 11.3% for the cinnamon and lavender oils. The lavender oil had the lowest effect on adult killing, not exceeding 0. A study of some biological aspects of the crustacean Isopod procellio scaber was carried out for the period April 2003 to march 2004 . The study consisted reproductive and morphological characteristies such as size , weight and length of the body . The result showed that the highest population density of P. scaber was 1120 individual/m2 in September 2003 and less density 403 ind/m2 in February 2004. The density was generally high in Spring and Autumn, low in Summer and Winter months.An increase of the sexual ratio appear in the females number compared to males number (p < 0.05) during most of year.
