Objective : To find out the prevalence of Hypochondriasis among Iraqi repatriated prisoners of
Iraq-Iran war, and the relationship with some variables.
Methodology: A descriptive study was carried out from Jan. 2nd , 2006 through May 4th , 2006. A
non-probability accidental sample of 400 repatriates who had visited; Ministry of Human Rights,

Mishrif formation is a carbonate rock (Limestone and Dolomite) and its thickness reach to 170m. The main reservoir is the lower Mishrif (MB) layer which has medium permeability (3.5-100) md and good porosity (10-25) %. The quality of groundwater in the Al-Hawija area was assessed using a water quality index. Data of nine physico-chemical parameters of 28 groundwater wells were used to calculate the water quality index (WQI). A heterogeneous water quality was reported, where in close proximity to the Lesser Zab River (LZR), it has low WQI values and permissible for human consumptions due to the dilution processes by fresh water; whereas, it becomes deteriorated in areas located far away the river. The values of WQI ranges from 22 to 336, indicating a good to very poor groundwater quality.
