The study aimed to assess the level of ANG‑2 in MM patients at diagnosis and in remission state and elaborate on its correlation with interleukin‑6 (IL‑6) and beta‑2 microglobulin (B2M) levels. Sixty MM patients; 20 newly diagnosed (ND), and 40 patients in remission were included. Twenty healthy individuals were included as a control group. Plasma levels of ANG‑2, B2M, and IL‑6 were tested by enzyme‑lin ked immunosorbent assay. Two simple methods spectrophotometric were suggested for the determination of Cefixime (CFX) in pure form and pharmaceutical preparation. Oil recovery could be impacted by the relation between vertical permeability (K_v) and horizontal permeability (K_h) (K_v/K_h). 4816 plugs that have been getting hold of 18 wells of Mishrif formation in the West Qurna oilfield were used. K_v/K_h data provided some scatter, but the mean is ~1. K_v/K_h =1 was used for the Petrel model before upscaling according to the heterogeneity of each layer.

Bacterial resistance caused by antibiotic misuse has garnered substantial attention, prompting numerous researchers to develop materials that can combat these resistant pathogens. The hydrothermal method is employed to produce γ-MnO2 nanostars and to coat them with Fe2O3 nanoparticles. The materials are characterized using XRD, FE-SEM, EDX, and UV-vis spectrophotometry, as well as antioxidant and antibacterial activities. The nano γ-MnO2 star shapes are coated with tiny spherical Fe2O3 nanoparticles with diameters of 35-47 nm.
