Obliquely deposited (70o) Bi, Sb, and Bi-Sb alloy thin films have been prepared by thermal
resistive technique. Structural properties of these films were studied using XRD. Their resistance and
voltage responsivity for Nd:YAG and CO2 laser pulses have been recorded as function of operating
temperature between 10 oC and 120 oC. It was found that the maximum responsivity for these detectors
can be obtained at 75 oC. On the other hand, the dependence of responsivity on the width of detectors was
investigated.

The role of the AAC is to improve the PD performance by compensating for unmodelled dynamics using the concept of function approximation technique FAT.     This article aims to explore the importance of estimating the a semiparametric regression function ,where we suggest a new estimator beside the other combined estimators and then we make a comparison among them by using simulation technique . The study sample consisted of (100) senior citizens residing in nursing homes in Baghdad and Kirkuk cities. They were selected in a simple random way. The adsorption of Malonic acid, Succinic acid, Adipic acid, and Azelaic acid from their aqueous solutions on zinc oxide surface were investigated. The adsorption efficiency was investigated using various factors such as adsorbent amount, contact time, initial concentration, and temperature. Optimum conditions for acids removal from its aqueous solutions were found to be adsorbent dose (0.2 g), equilibrium contact time (40 minutes), initial acids concentration (0.005 M). Variation of temperature as a function of adsorption efficiency showed that increasing the temperature would result in decreasing the adsorption ability. Kinetic modeling by applying the pseudo-second order model can provide a better fit of the data with a greater correla
