The hydrometallurgical method was used to platinum and palladium leaching with aqua regia solution (3HCl: HNO₃). Five subsurface sections covering the entire length of the Jeribe Limestone Formation (Early Middle Miocene) were studied from four oilfields in northern Iraq.
