This study included isolation of some active materials from Curcuma longa such as tannins, saponins and volatile oils with percentage of 59%, 31%, and 9% respectively. Also the study included the determination of minerals in Curcuma longa such as " Na, Ca and K" using Flame photometer. Objective : To assess the efficiency for some disinfectants against the microorganisms isolated from
the wards of newborn and premature babies in Educational Baghdad Hospital .
Methodology :This study had done from 1\8\2014 untile 1\9\2014, we had selected three types of
disinfectants ( Incidine , Bleach and Microbac Forte )which were used for disinfection in the wards of

This study is concerned with the effect of adding two kinds of ceramic materials on the mechanical properties of (Al-7%Si- 0.3%Mg) alloy, which are zirconia with particle size (20μm > P.S ≥ 0.1μm) and alumina with particle size (20μm > P.S ≥ 0.1μm) and adding them to the alloy with weight ratios (0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1%).
