A New ligand, N-(2-oxo-1,2- Dihydropyrimidin-4- ylcarbamothioyl) Acetamide (DPA) was prepared by reaction of iso thiosyanate derivative with Cytosine. The ligand has been characterized through elemental analysis, H1 NMR, C13NMR, FT-IR, and UV Visible spectra, such ligand’s transition metal complexes have been characterized through conductivity measurement, FT-IR, UV Visible spectra and magnetic susceptibility, all the complexes of this ligand are solid crystal and molar ratio (2:1) (ligand: metal). Titanium dioxide nanorods have been prepared by sol-gel template
method. The structural and surface morphology of the TiO₂ nanorods was
investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and atomic force microscopy
(AFM), it was found that the nanorods produced were anatase TiO₂ phase.
The photocatalytic activity of the TiO2 nanorods was evaluated by the
photo degradation of methyl orange (MO). The relatively higher
degradation efficiency for MO (D%=78.2) was obtained after 6h of exposed
to UV irradiation.

This study aimed to develop an oral drug delivery system for gastro-retentive sustained drug release of baclofen by using a 3D printed capsular device since baclofen has a short half-life of 2.5 to 4 hours and has a narrow absorption window. The research aimed at identifying the relationship between motivation and self–confidence on the performing routines in the parallel bar. The researchers used the descriptive method on (480) thirds year college of physical education and sport sciences/ university of Baghdad students. The data was collected and treated using proper statistical operations to conclude that there is a high correlation relationship between motivation and self-confidence with routine performance on parallel bars. In addition to that, the researchers concluded that third-year students have high motivation and self – confidence and there is a positive relationship between motivation, self-confidence, and routine performance on parallel bars.
