The ability of beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) to uptake three pharmaceuticals (diclofenac, mefenamic acid and metronidazole) from two types of soil (clay and sandy soil) was investigated in this study to explore the human exposure to these pharmaceuticals via the consumption of beans. A pot experiment was conducted with beans plants which were grown in two types of soil for six weeks under controlled conditions. A total of 335 suspected fecal sample were collected from calf of cattle and buffalo with age in between (3 days to 4 months) from middle area of Iraq between November 2016 to May 2017.

The study found a number of results. The most prominent were the low married during the years of the study in 1997-2012. The study also showed the level of administrative units that the percentage of widows and single rise in urban and rural decline.
