The analytical data showed that all chelate complexes were prepared with (metal-ligand) ratio of (1:2). The general formula of these complexes was [ML2X2]. nH2O [were L=2-[(4`-sulphamide phenyl) azo]-4,5-diphenyl imidazole and X=Cl, and the octahedral geometry were suggested for these complexes .
Four metal complexes mixed ligand of 2-aminophenol (2-AP) and tributylphosphine (PBu3) were produced in aqueous ethanol with (1:2:2) (M:2-AP:PBu3). The prepared complexes were identified by using flame atomic absorption, FT.IR and UV-Vis spectroscopic methods as well as magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurements. In addition antibacterial activity of the two ligands and mixed ligand complexes oboist three species of bacteria were also examined. The ligands and their complexes show good bacterial activities. From the obtained data the octahedral geometry was suggested for all prepared complexes. Keywords: Mixed ligand complexes, spectral studies, 2-aminophenol, tributylphosphine.

The present work includes the preparation and characterization of{Co(II) , Ni(II), Pd(II), Fe(III) , Ru(III),Rh(III), Os(III) , Ir(III) , Pt(IV) and VO(IV)}complexes of a new ligand 4-[(1-phenyl-2,3-dimethyl-3-pyrozoline-5-one)azo]-N,N-dimethylanline (PAD). The product (PAD) was isolated, studies and characterized by phsical measurements,i.e., (FT-IR), (UV) Spectroscopy and elemental analysis(C.H.N). The prepared complexes were identified and their structural geometric were suggested in solid state by using flame atomic absorption, elemental analysis(C.H.N), (FT-IR) and (UV-Vis) Spectroscopy, as well as magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurements . Magneto-chemical measurements, molar conductance ΛM (1×10−3 mol/L in DMSO):36- 0.84 ohm-1.cm2.mol-1 (non-electrolyte). The data shows that the complexes have the structure [M((II))-(Curc)-(L-dopa)] system. Electronic and magnetic data suggest an octahedral geometry for all complexes in which the (L-dopa) and curcumin act as bidentate ligands. Curcumin coordinated to the metal ions M (II) through the lone pair of electrons of oxygen in 2(C=O) groups. The (L-dopa) coordinated to M (II) a

The prepared complexes were characterized using flame atomic absorption,(C.H.N)Analysis, FT.IR and UV-Vis spectroscopic methods as well as magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurements. In addition biological activity of the phenylalanine and complexes against two selected type of bacteria were also examined. Some of the complexes exhibit good bacterial activities. From the obtained data the octahedral structure was suggested for all prepared complexes.
A new ligand [ 2-chloro-N- (1,5-dimethyl-3-oxo-2-phenyl-2,3-dihydro -1H-pyrazol- 4-ylcarbamothioyl)acetamide](L) was synthesized by reacting the Chloro acetyl isothiocyanate with 4-aminoantipyrine,The ligand was characterized by(C HNS) elemental microanalysis and the spectral measurements including Uv-Vis ,IR ,1H and13C NMR spectra, some transition metals complex of this ligand were prepared and characterized by Uv-Vis, FT-IR spectra, conductivity measurements, magnetic susceptibility and atomic absorption. From the obtained results the molecular formula of all prepared complexes were [M(L)2(H2O)2]Cl2 (M+2 =Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd and Hg),the proposed geometrical structure for all complexes were octahedral.
A series of lanthanide metal (???) complexes have been prepared from the new azo ligand, 3-(1-methyl-2-benzimidazolylazo)-Tyrosine (MBT). The structural feature were confirmed on the basis of their elemental analysis, metal content, molar conductance, magnetic measurement, FTIR, 1 HNMR and UV-Vis spectra studies. The isolated complexes were found to have a mole ratio (1:2) (metal:ligand) stoichiometry with the general formula [Ln(MBT)2]Cl (Ln(???) = La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu and Gd). The chelates were found to have octahedral structures. The FTIR spectra shows that the ligand (MBT) is coordinated to lanthanide ions as a N, N, O-tridentate anion via benzimidazole nitrogen, azo nitrogen and oxygen of hydroxyl after deprotonation. Com
