Palm vein recognition is a one of the most efficient biometric technologies, each individual can be identified through its veins unique characteristics, palm vein acquisition techniques is either contact based or contactless based, as the individual's hand contact or not the peg of the palm imaging device, the needs a contactless palm vein system in modern applications rise tow problems, the pose variations (rotation, scaling and translation transformations) since the imaging device cannot aligned correctly with the surface of the palm, and a delay of matching process especially for large systems, trying to solve these problems. This paper proposed a pose invariant identification system for contactless palm vein which include three main steps, at first data augmentation is done by making multiple copies of the input image then perform out-of-plane rotation on them around all the X,Y and Z axes. Then a new fast extract Region of Interest (ROI) algorithm is proposed for cropping palm region. Finally, features are extracted and classified by specific structure of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). The system is tested on two public multispectral palm vein databases (PolyU and CASIA); furthermore, synthetic datasets are derived from these mentioned databases, to simulate the hand out-of-plane rotation in random angels within range from -20° to +20° degrees. To study several situations of pose invariant, twelve experiments are performed on all datasets, highest accuracy achieved is 99.73% ∓ 0.27 on PolyU datasets and 98 % ∓ 1 on CASIA datasets, with very fast identification process, about 0.01 second for identifying an individual, which proves system efficiency in contactless palm vein problems.
Abstract: Background: Drug toxicity and chemotherapeutic side effects negatively impact the quality of life of breast cancer patients. Objectives: to evaluate the efficacy of pharmaceutical Interventions (PI) on quality of life (QOL)Among chemotherapy intake breast cancer women. Method: A pre-post interventional study was carried out at the chemotherapy ward of Alhabobi Hospital in Alnasiriyah City. Eligible patients received comprehensive pharmaceutical care and a self-compiled Breast Cancer Patients Medication Knowledge Guide pamphlet. Each patient received two sessions, the first at baseline and the second after 7, 14, or 21 days depending on the next taking dose of chemotherapy. Each session lasted for approximately 15-30 minutes. Par

Where, those banks are looking for activities that enhance their governance; one of these activities is Shariah Audit that provided the auditing capabilities to face of developmental challenges and increase competitiveness. Therefore, the content of this paper, discusses know-how to use the Shariah Audit and its references in support of the Shariah Governance in the Iraqi Isla

Therefore, a technique was needed to reduce these pollutants. Ion exchange technology (IE) was used with AmberliteTM IR120 Na, AmberliteTM IR96RF, and AmberliteTM IR402, firstly by using anion and mixed bed system, where the following variables are investigated for the process of adsorption: The height of the bed in column (8,10 and 14 cm), different concentrations of (DOC) content at constant flow rate. The use of an ion exchanger unit (continuous system) with three columns (cation, anion, and mixed bed) was studied.
... Show MoreAim of the research is the study of improving the performance of the thermal station south Baghdad and the main reasons for reduced its efficiency. South Baghdad power planet comprises (6) steam turbine units and (18) gas turbine units .The gas turbine units are composed of two groups: the first group is made up of gas units (1,2), each of capacity (123) MW. The design efficiency of gas turbine units is 32%. The actual efficiency data of steam units is 18.3% instead of 45% which is the design efficiency. The main reason for efficiency reduction of gas units is the rejected thermal energy with the exhaust gases to atmosphere, that are (450-510) ℃.The bad type of fuel used (heavy) fuel. Another reason for the low efficiency and has a neg

In a language, quantifiers are represented by the so-called quantifier words. Representing different degrees of the concentration of quantity, quantifier words in natural languages are positioned in a strict sequence – the quantifying scale. In terms of logic, it starts with nothingness (quantifier of meaningful nothingness), terminating at universality while in terms of language quantifier words, it is represented by the complex scale of quantifying words’ intensity. Logically speaking, this scale should start with the quantifier word ‘nothing’ to move all the way through increasing intensity ov

The strategy for the assessment of vehicle travel times relies upon the distinctive verification of traffic state. The particular vehicle velocities are gotten from acknowledged vehicle positions in two persistent images by working out the distance covered all through elapsed past time doing mollification between the removed traffic flow data and cultivating a plan to unequivocally predict vehicle travel times. Erbil road data base is used to recognize road locales around road segments which are projected into the commended camera
... Show MoreThe Wonderful Wizard of Oz and Peter and Wendy present universal ideas that exist in all times, despite being written in the beginning of the 20th century. Among the most significant ones is the concept of “home”. The article discusses the essentiality of the idea of “home” where the identity of an individual shapes, and where one’s spiritual, psychological, and physical being develop. It also studies the attitudes of each protagonist towards the concept of ‘home’ based on their understanding of it and according to their gender differences. The characters in both stories tread on the path of perplexity between leaving their homes and returning to them. Peter’s world is the world of imagination while Doro

The Book of Joshua comes sixth in the order of tanakh wich was written by Joshua son of Noon in Palestine during the fifteenth century B.C. and it covers a three-decade era extending from the death of Moses til the death of Joshua son of Noon.
The word " בַּיִת " in this paper refers to the place, where expressions are made by a noun modified by a noun . The modifier is"" בַּיִת , and the modified is another noun. Herein, we

A feature of the Russian speech application in recent decades has been the effective change in the lexical composition of the Russian language. This article illustrates the semantic, grammatical and stylistic structural characteristics of the linguistic units that appeared in Russian at the end of the 20th century - the beginning of the twenty-first century. This work defines these terms : terminology, linguistic unity, and terms that are used as synonyms. In this research , we will adhere to the conciliatory view of the problem and include not only the terminology in the language units, but also the terminological compositions, saying

It is emphasized that each of these groups is relatively independent; the cut line between them is fuzzy and arbitrary. It is postulated that when the object is completely destroyed, then the verb has the meaning of “destruction”, and when the object is partially destroyed, then the verb has the meaning of “damage”. It is this feature that individualizes the meaning of verbs. The study distinguishes between the groups and the nature of the object as- animate / inanimate. The object of the action of the “destruction” can only be inan
