Low conversion copolymerization of acrylamide AM (monomer-1) have been conducted with acrylic acid AA in dry benzene at 70°C , using Benzoyl peroxide BPO as initiator . The copolymer composition has been determined by elemental analysis. The monomer reactivity ratios have been calculated by the Kelen-Tudos and Finman-Ross graphical procedures. The derived reactivity ratios (r1, r2) are: (0.620, 0.996) for (AM / AA) systems , and found that the reactivity of the monomer AA is more than the monomer AM in the copolymerization of (AA/AM) system. The reactivity ratios values were used for microstructures calculation.
The study involved the removal of acidity from free fatty acid via the esterification reaction of oleic acid with ethanol. The reaction was done in a batch reactor using commercial 13X zeolite as a catalyst. The effects of temperatures (40 to 70 °C) and reaction time (up to 120 minutes) were studied using 6:1 mole ratio of pure ethanol to oleic acid and 5 wt. % of the catalyst. The results showed that acid removed increased with increasing temperature and reaction time. Also, the acidity removal rises sharply during the first reaction period and then changes slightly afterward. The highest acidity removal value was 67 % recorded at 110 minutes and 70 °C. An apparent homogeneous reversible reaction kinetic model has been proposed a

Different formulations of 12-hydroxyoctadecanoic acid (HOA) in sesame oil were gelled and selecting F1, F3 and F5 HOA organogels for various examinations: tabletop rheology, optical microscopy, and oscillatory rheology studies. Also, the floating properties studies were conducted at in vitro and in-vivo levels. Lastly, the in-vitro release study using cinnarizine (CN) was to investigate the organogel depot property. Based on the results, the selected concentrations of HOA in sesame oil organogels showed temperature transitions fr

The ability of this organism to form biofilms increases its resistance to therapy and promotes the development of antimicrobial resistance, necessitating new treatment methods. Objective: To assess the effect of 3-caffeoylquinic acid on K. kristinae isolated from patients with ear infections. Methods: Isolation of five clinical strains was done by conventional microbiological procedures. The ability of K. kristinae to form biofilms was determined by the crystal violet method (absorbance at OD₅₇₀) before and after 3-caffeoylquinic acid exposure; statistical data analysis was done using a

Monomeric complexes of this ligand, of general formulae [MII(L)(H2O)] with (MII = Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Pd, Cd and Hg ) were reported. The compounds were isolated and characterized in solid state by using 1H-NMR, FT-IR, UV–Vis and mass spectral studies, elemental microanalysis, metal content, magnetic moment measurements, molar conductance and chloride containing. These studies revealed tetrahedral geometries for all complexes except PdII complex is Square planar. The study of complexes formation via molar ratio of (M:L) as (1:1). This study investigates the influence of phosphoric acid (H3PO4) molarity (2 M, 4 M, and 6 M) on the structural, thermal, optical, and electrical properties of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)/20% graphene oxide (GO) composite films. X-ray diffraction analysis revealed a semi-crystalline nature for PVA, with characteristic peaks at 19.7 degrees and 42 degrees, and crystalline peaks for GO at 10.1 degrees and 39.8 degrees. The addition of H3PO4 to the PVA/GO composite resulted in the disappearance of GO crystalline peaks, suggesting reduced crystallinity. Differential scanning calorimetry revealed a reduction in both glass transition and melting temperatures as H3PO4 concentration increased. Pure PVA exhibited Tg and Tm values of 68.9 degrees C and 1

Succinic acid is an essential base ingredient for manufacturing various industrial chemicals. Succinic acid has been acknowledged as one of the most significant bio based building block chemicals. Rapid demand for succinic acid has been noticed in the last 10 years. The production methods and mechanisms developed. Hence, these techniques and operations need to be revised. Recently, an omnibus rule for developing succinic acid is to find renewable carbohydrate Feedstocks. The sustainability of the resource is crucial to disintegrate the massive use of petroleum based-production. Accordingly, systematically reviewing the latest findings of bacterial production and related fermentation methods is critical. Therefore, this paper aims to stud
