...Show More Authors

The quantitative determination of the estrogen E2, Progestron P4 & follicle stimulating hormones FSH in the serums of Albino mice used in the experiments & treated by crude alcoholic extracted 95% of the seeds & leaves of Apium graveolens was a significant increase in the concentration of estrogen of different kinds of the extracted in comparison with the values of the coefficient of the control group, that is the study recorded a significant increase of the concentration of estrogen; it was the highest in the mice which was administrated by the methanolic extracted 95%, then it was less in the mouse which was administrated by the ethanolic extracted., and it was the least in the mice which were administrated by the crude ethanolic-methanoloic extracted of the seeds of Apium graveolens; while the increase of the concentration of estrogen of different crude alcoholic extracted leaves of Apium graveolens was the highest than the extracted of the seeds, & it was less concentration in the mice which were administrated by the methanolic extracted 95%, & then it was the least in the mice which were administrated by the crude ethanolic-methanolic extracted leaves of Apium graveolens in comparison with the values of the control group. Further, the plant extracted created a significant increase of the concentration of progestron P4; the statistics analysis recorded that the concentration of progestron was the highest in the mice which were administrated by the methanolic extracted 95%, then it was less in the mice which were administrated by the ethanolic extracted 95%, and the least in the mice which were administrated by the crude ethanolic-methanolic extracted of the seeds of apium graveolens whereas, a significant increase of the concentration of progrstrone was recorded in the leaves of Apium graveolens as follows: it was the highest in the mice which were administrated by the ethanolic extracted 95%, then it was less in the mice which were administrated by the crude methanolic extracted 95%, and it was the least in the mice which were administrated by the crude ethnolic-methanolic extracted in comparison with the coefficient of control group. The study also proved that there was a significant increase of the concentration of the follicle stimulating hormone FSH whose greatest concentration in the mice which was administrated by the crude ethanolic-methanolic for the seeds of Apim graveolens, it was less concentration in the mice which was administrated by crude methanolic extracted 95% of the seeds, and it was the least in the mice which was administrated by the methanolic extracted 95% of the leaves of Apium graveolens in comparison with the concentrations of the coefficient of the control group. While, the results recorded a significant decrease of the FSH in the mice which was administrated by the crude ethanolic extracted of the seeds & leaves of Apium graveolens a highest decrease, it was less concentration in the mice which was administrated by the crude ethanolic-methanolic extracted of the leaves of apium graveolens, in comparison with the concentration in the control group.

A survey on deep learning tools dealing with data scarcity: definitions, challenges, solutions, tips, and applications
...Show More Authors
Abstract
Data scarcity is a major challenge when training deep learning (DL) models. DL demands a large amount of data to achieve exceptional performance. Unfortunately, many applications have small or inadequate data to train DL frameworks. Usually, manual labeling is needed to provide labeled data, which typically involves human annotators with a vast background of knowledge. This annotation process is costly, time-consuming, and error-prone. Usually, every DL framework is fed by a significant amount of labeled data to automatically learn representations. Ultimately, a larger amount of data would generate a better DL model and its performance is also application dependent. This issue is the main barrier for
... Show More

Broad‐ranging review: configurations, membrane types, governing equations, and influencing factors on microbial desalination cell technology
...Show More Authors
Abstract
Seawater might serve as a fresh‐water supply for future generations to help meet the growing need for clean drinking water. Desalination and waste management using newer and more energy intensive processes are not viable options in the long term. Thus, an integrated and sustainable strategy is required to accomplish cost‐effective desalination via wastewater treatment. A microbial desalination cell (MDC) is a new technology that can treat wastewater, desalinate saltwater, and produce green energy simultaneously. Bio‐electrochemical oxidation of wastewater organics creates power using this method. Desalination and the creation of value‐added by‐products are expected because of this ionic mov
... Show More

Secure E-voting authentication system employing biometric technology, Crypto-Watermarking Approach and blockchain technology: A Review
...Show More Authors

Moderately, advanced national election technologies have improved political systems. As electronic voting (e-voting) systems advance, security threats like impersonation, ballot tampering, and result manipulation increase. These challenges are addressed through a review covering biometric authentication, watermarking, and blockchain technologies, each of which plays a crucial role in improving the security of e-voting systems. More precisely, the biometric authentication is being examined due to its ability in identify the voters and reducing the risks of impersonation. The study also explores the blockchain technology to decentralize the elections, enhance the transparency and ensure the prevention of any unauthorized alteration or

A modified time series model using conditional and unconditional estimations with applications to a real dataset
...Show More Authors

Modern statistical techniques offer a range of methodologies for modelling time series data, with conditional and unconditional approaches providing complementary insights that enhance overall model accuracy. This article introduced a modified ARIMA model employing conditional and unconditional parameter estimates. The methodology for the new model based on novel methods is provided. The prediction process, one and two steps ahead, is covered in detail, and a novel algorithm is presented. The best model is picked based on various measurement criteria, such as coefficient of determination (R2), root mean squared error (RMSE), and mean absolute scaled error (MASE). The suggested model is applied to a monthly petrol sales dataset (Jan

Ground vibration isolation using mass scatters: A comparative study with trench barriers and wave‐impeding blocks
...Show More Authors
Abstract
Traffic‐induced ground vibrations cause significant problems for residents and nearby structures. Reducing the effect of these vibrations on the neighboring environment is a key challenge, particularly in urban areas. This study presents both numerical and experimental investigations of the performance of mass scatters for screening ground vibrations. A three‐dimensional numerical model is validated and extended to conduct a comparative study on the efficiency of three geotechnical methods of isolation. These methods include trench barriers, wave‐impeding blocks (WIBs), and mass scatters. The results showed that mass scatters represent an efficient way of scattering ground vi
... Show More

Structural, electrical, and electrochemical investigations on Cu2+ ion–conducting PVA/HPMC-based blend solid polymer electrolytes
...Show More Authors

Blend solid polymer electrolytes (BSPEs) comprising PVA/HPMC/CuSO4 were prepared using a solution casting approach. BSPEs were synthesized with varying weight percentages of CuSO4 (0, 10, 20, and 30 wt.%). A variety of experimental methods, including X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), cyclic voltammetry (CV), and linear sweep voltammetry (LSV), were used to characterize these BSPE systems. The polymer blend matrix underwent structural alterations, according to the XRD data. The standard data from JCPDS card numbers for copper sulfate matches well with the observed strong peaks of PVA/HPMC+20 wt.% of CuSO4 BSPE. The complex
