The extraction of Cupressus sempervirens L. or cypress essential oil was studied in this paper. This cypress oil was extracted by using the hydro-distillation method, using a clevenger apparatus. Cupressus sempervirens L. leaves were collected from Hit city in Al-Anbar province – Iraq.        This study introduces a series of single and pile group model tests subjected to lateral loads in . multilayered sand from Karbala, Iraq. The aim of this study is to investigate: the performance of the pile groups subjected to lateral loads; in which the pile batter inclination angle is changed; the effect of pile spacing (s/d) ratio, the influence of using different number of piles and pile group configuration. Objective: The present study aimed to determine the association of quality of life with the resilience of intensive care unit (ICU) nurses. Methods and Materials: A cross-sectional study was performed, including 105 ICU nurses from five hospitals in Iraq, using a convenience sample method. Data were gathered through a self-administered questionnaire that includes three sections: the demographics, the Brooks Quality of Nursing Work Life survey, and the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale-10 (CD-RISC-10). Findings: The QWL of the ICU nurses was moderately satisfied (mean = 161.42), and the level of resilience was moderate (mean = 26). Background: Asthma is a complicated condition characterized by chronic airway inflammation and airflow restriction, resulting in various respiratory symptoms such as shortness of breath, wheezing, coughing, and chest tightness. The research intended to evaluate and compare the clinical outcomes of two interchangeable treatment regimens administered to a group of Iraqi asthmatic children.

Methods: This observational clinical study was conducted on a sample of pediatric Iraqi asthmatic patients in the central pediatric hospital in Baghdad. The study enrolled asthmatic children with moderate persistent asthma, who a specialized physician had diagnosed. Patients had been allocated
