This paper aims to decide the best parameter estimation methods for the parameters of the Gumbel type-I distribution under the type-II censorship scheme. For this purpose, classical and Bayesian parameter estimation procedures are considered. The maximum likelihood estimators are used for the classical parameter estimation procedure. The asymptotic distributions of these estimators are also derived. It is not possible to obtain explicit solutions of Bayesian estimators. Therefore, Markov Chain Monte Carlo, and Lindley techniques are taken into account to estimate the unknown parameters. Liquid-Liquid Extraction of Cu(II) ion in aqueous solution by dicyclohexyl-18-crown-6 as extractant in dichloroethane was studied .The extraction efficiency was investigated by a spectrophometric method. The reagent form a coloured complex which has been a quantitatively extracted at pH 6.3. The method obeys Beer`s law over range from (2.5-22.5) ppm with the correlation coefficient of 0.9989. The molar absorptivity the stoichiometry of extracted complex is found to be 1:2. the proposed method is very sensitive and selective.

This study was performd on 50 urine specimens of patients with type 2 diabetes, in addition, 50 normal specimens were investigated as control group. The activity rate of maltase in patients (6.40±2.17) I.U/ml and activity rate of maltase in normal (0.44±0.20)I.U/ml. The results of the study reveal that maltase activity of type 2 diabetes patient's urine shows significant increase (P<0.01) compare to normal.
