Preparation of a New Dosage Form of Metoclopramide Hydrochloride as Orodispersible Tablet
...Show More Authors

Metoclopramide HCl (MTB) is a potent antiemetic drug used for the treatment of nausea and vomiting. Many trials were made to prepare a satisfactory MTB orodispersible tablet using direct compression method.Various super disintegrants were used in this study which are croscarmellose sodium (CCS), sodium starch glycolate (SSG) and crospovidone (CP). The latter was the best in terms of showing the fastest disintegration time in the mouth.Among the different diluents utilized, it was found that a combination of microcrystalline cellulose PH101 (MCC 101), mannitol, dicalcium phosphate dihydrate (DPD) and Glycine was the best in preparing MTB orodispersible tablet with fastest disintegration time in the mouth. The physical parameters of the prepared MTB orodispersible tablet were satisfactory as hardness (4 Kg), friability (0.5%) and mouth disintegration (23 sec). The overall results suggest that the prepared formula of MTB as orodispersible tablet could be utilized as a new dosage form for the oral administration.

Key words: Orodispersible, metoclopramide, super disintegrant

Pre-Writing Skills of Kindergarten Children Preparation
...Show More Authors

The study aimed to design a test of pre-writing skills for public kindergartens in Baghdad city. The test consisted of (25) items applied on a sample of (150) kindergarteners to identify these skills as well as to identify the significant difference between male and female children and if there is a difference between pre-school children and kindergarteners. The results showed the presence of pre-writing skills with a high degree in kindergarten children. The differences were clear in these skills between male and female children and those in pre-school than those in kindergartens. The researcher suggested a number of recommendations and proposals.

Changes in the Electroencephalogram as a Biomarker of Alzheimer’s Disease
...Show More Authors

The rapid increase in the number of older people with Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and other forms of dementia represents one of the major challenges to the health and social care systems because of a large number of people affected. Early detection of AD makes it possible for patients to access appropriate services and to benefit from new treatments and therapies, as and when they become available, and to plan for the future. The onset of AD starts many years before the clinical symptoms become clear. A biomarker that can measure the brain changes in this period would be useful for early diagnosis of AD. Potentially, the electroencephalogram (EEG) can play a valuable role in early detection of AD. Damage caused to the brain due to AD leads t

Educational Curricula of preeminent and Talent:Enrichment Curriculum as a Model
...Show More Authors

This research aimed at recognizing the properties of curricula that fitted to preeminent and talent students. Many types of these curricula were exposed, enrichment curriculum was explained as one of alternatives of available curricula.
The research used the analytical methodology for local and international literature in the field of preeminent and talent education to meet the properties of curricula that fitted to this special group of students. Many results was obtained as:
• This type of school enrichment curriculum consists of three levels( general discovery activities, individual and groups training activities, and individual or groups real problems).
• Investigation the effectively both sides of brain: right and left,

Synthesis of Phthalimide Imine Derivatives as a Potential Anticancer Agent
...Show More Authors

The outstanding evidence of phthalimide pharmacophore in securing enhanced biological activities had encouraged further research and development into phthalimide-based derivatives as potential new drugs. In this study, phthalimide core was hybridized with aldehydes giving integrated imines displaying different types of functionalities and at alternating positions. The resulting compounds, therefore, provide an innovative window to explore possible differential biological effects as antioxidants and anticancer agents. A total of sixteen compounds were synthesized, and each was verified by FT-IR, H NMR, C NMR, and MS characterization. Herein, a facile single-step synthesis method was employed substituting the conventional two-step che

The Electro-Excitation Form Factors for Low-Lying States of 7Li Nucleus
...Show More Authors

The transverse electron scattering form factors have been studied for low –lying excited states of 7Li nucleus. These states are specified by J? T= (0.478MeV), (4.63MeV) and (6.68MeV). The transitions to these states are taking place by both isoscalar and isovector components. These form factors have been analyzed in the framework of the multi-nucleon configuration mixing of harmonic oscillator shell model with size parameter brms=1.74fm. The universal two-body of Cohen-Kurath is used to generate the 1p-shell wave functions. The core polarization effects are included in the calculations through effective g-factors and resolved many discrepancies with experiments. A higher configuration effect outside the 1p-shell model space, such

Comparative Histopathological Effects Of Acetamiprid And Its Nanometric Form On Albino Mice
...Show More Authors

Formulations based on nanomaterials have the ability to reduce the consuming of hazardous pesticides and theirimpact on human health and environment. The present study focused on a comparative investigation of histological effects of nanocapule acetamiprid (NACMP) in vivoand commercial parental bulk form of acetamiprid (ACMP) on albino mice. Nanoformulations of pesticides have the potential to improve food productivity without compromising with the ecosystem. In the present study, nanocapsules containing acetamiprid were prepared from two natural macromolecules, alginate and chitosan. The characterization of the nanocapsules were investigated by Dynamic Light Scattering(DLS), T ransmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and Atomic force

Core-polarization effect in longitudinal electron scattering form factors of 65Cu nucleus

Inelastic longitudinal electron scattering form factors to 2+ and 4+ states in 65Cu nucleus has been calculated in the (2p3/2 1f 5/2 2p1/2) shell model space with the F5PVH effective interaction. The harmonic oscillator potential has been applied to calculate the wave functions of radial single-particle matrix elements. Two shell model codes, CP and NUSHELL are used to obtain results. Elastic Form Factors and Matter Density Distributions of Some Neutron-Rich Nuclei
...Show More Authors

The ground-state properties of exotic 18N and 20F nuclei, including the neutron, proton and matter densities and related  radii are investigated using the two-body model of   within Gaussian (GS) and Woods Saxon (WS) wave functions. The long tail is evident in the computed neutron and matter densities of these nuclei. The plane wave Born approximation (PWBA) is  calculate the elastic form factors of these exotic nuclei. The variation in the proton density distributions due to the presence of the extra neutrons in 18N and 20F leads to a major difference between the elastic form factors of these exotic nuclei and their stable isotopes 14N and 19F. The reaction c
