In recent decades, drug modification is no longer unusual in the pharmaceutical world as living things are evolving in response to environmental changes. A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) such as aspirin is a common over-the-counter drug that can be purchased without medical prescription. Aspirin can inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandin by blocking the cyclooxygenase (COX) which contributes to its properties such as anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, antiplatelet and etc. It is also being considered as a chemopreventive agent due to its antithrombotic actions through the COX’s inhibition. However, the prolonged use of aspirin can cause heartburn, ulceration, and gastro-toxicity in children and adults. This review article highlights the recent derivatives of aspirin, either to reduce the risk of side effects or to obtain better physicochemical properties. Aspirin derivatives can be synthesized in various pathways and have been reported to give better biological activities such as anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antioxidant, etc., compared to the parent drug. The presence of significant moieties such as nitric oxide (NO), NOSH, thiourea, azo, amide, and chalcone on the modified aspirin play important roles in achieving desired biological activities. The addition of the halogen in the modification has also become a preference among researchers as it also affects the actions due to its ability to hinder bacterial activity. This review is also sharing about the bulkiness effect of certain aspirin modifications that may cause steric hindrance of the compounds and influence their penetration into the enzyme’s active site. Overall, these aspirin modifications are safe to be considered as potential pharmaceutical agents.
In this paper, previous studies about Fuzzy regression had been presented. The fuzzy regression is a generalization of the traditional regression model that formulates a fuzzy environment's relationship to independent and dependent variables. All this can be introduced by non-parametric model, as well as a semi-parametric model. Moreover, results obtained from the previous studies and their conclusions were put forward in this context. So, we suggest a novel method of estimation via new weights instead of the old weights and introduce

Schiff bases, named after Hugo Schiff, are aldehyde- or ketone-like compounds in which the carbonyl group is replaced by imine or azomethine group. They are widely used for industrial purposes and also have a broad range of applications as antioxidants. An overview of antioxidant applications of Schiff bases and their complexes is discussed in this review. A brief history of the synthesis and reactivity of Schiff bases and their complexes is presented. Factors of antioxidants are illustrated and discussed. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
Fetal growth restriction is a significant contributor to fetal morbidity and mortality. In addition, there are heightened maternal risks associated with surgical operations and their accompanying dangers. Monitoring fetal development is a crucial objective of prenatal care and effective methods for early diagnosis of Fetal growth restriction, allowing prompt management and timely intervention to improve the outcomes. Screening for Fetal growth restriction can be achieved via many modalities; it can be medical, biochemical, or radiological. Some recommended combining more than one for better outcomes. Currently, there is inconsistency about the best method of Fetal growth restriction screening. In this review, a comprehensive

This approach focuses on the potential interplay among upper airway characteristics, breathing patterns, and orofacial muscle function in influencing facial growth and occlusal relationships. This narrative review aims to outline the theoretical foundations of airway-centric orthodontics and to synthesize current evidence regarding the associations among upper airway characteristics, craniofacial morphology, and orthodontic interventions. In recent years, the evolution of the community structure in social networks has gained significant attention. Due to the rapid and continuous evolution of real-world networks over time. This makes the process of identifying communities and tracking their topology changes challenging. To tackle these challenges, it is necessary to find efficient methodologies for analyzing the behavior patterns of dynamic communities. Several previous reviews have introduced algorithms and models for community detection. However, these methods have not been very accurate in identifying communities. Moreover, none of the reviewed papers made an apparent effort to link algorithms that can accurately detect dynamic communities. This review aims to present a ta

The primary indicators of Alzheimer's disease consist of progressive memory impairment together with intellectual decline. Dementia cases from Alzheimer's disease constitute 50-60% of the total, while projections show these numbers will increase from 55 to 151 million by 2050. The development and enhancement of innovative therapeutic agents represent an absolute necessity for treating this medical condition. In this review, we will focus on synthesizing new promising therapeutic agents by many researchers that may improve some of the drawbacks of available drugs that only gave supportive care to Alzheimer's
