The pathogenesis of osteoarthritis involves multiple etiologies, including variable degree of synovial inflammation. Metformin and pioglitazone could potentially reduce the levels and activity of inflammatory mediators. Forty patients with ureteric stone ranged (4- 12) mm, were included in this study.
