Effect of Nano and Mineral NPK in Vegetative Growth Parameter of Pear Saplings
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>An experiment during the two seasons 2019, 2020. The experiment conducted according to Split Plot Design by two factors; the first was addition Nano NPK with five levels (control, addition 7.5 g.plant-1, addition 15 g.plant-1, spray 1 g.L-1, spray 2 g.L-1). The second factor was four levels of Mineral NPK which were (control, 50 g.plant-1, 100 g.plant-1, 50 g.plant-1+1.5 g.L-1) respectively. N3 (spray 1 g.L-1 ) increased plant height, stem diameter first season, branch number second season, leaves area and leaves number in both seasons. Mineral NPK A2 (100 g.plant-1) treatment increased plant height, stem diameter second season. While A3 (50 g.plant-1+1.5 g.L-1) gave a significant stem diameter first season, increase second season in a leaves number and leaves area.</p>

EFFECT OF FOLIAR APPLICATION WITH CALCIUM, MAGNESIUM AND FERTILIZING WITH HUMIC ACID ON GROWTH , YIELD, AND STORAGE ABILITY OF POTATO TUBERS.
...Show More Authors

Two experiments were carried out, the first at the College of Agriculture - University of Baghdad during spring season 2017 Everest cv. class (Elite) was used to study the effect of foliar application of calcium and magnesium and addition of humic acid to the soil on potato growth and yield, The layout of the experiment was factorial within RCBD design using three replicates. Calcium and Magnesium sprayed with concentrations (0, 500, 1000 mg.L-1), while the  humic acid was added to the soil with (0, 0.75 gm.m2),  The second experiment included  storage of tubers produced from the spring season, with to study the effect of field treatments  on improving the storability of the tubers. The results showed that the treatment of calci

The Effect of Cyclic Bending Loads on Crack Growth in Pipes for Inclined and Transverse Cracks with or Without Internal Pulsing Pressure
...Show More Authors

In the present research a new test rig has been proposed to be suitable for different cyclic loads such as cyclic bending, cyclic torsion, proportional and non proportional loads. In this work the efforts were concentrated on the cyclic bending loads concerning cracked pipes with or without internal pulsing pressure to study crack propagation in small bore pipes (up to 1'') for transverse or inclined cracks. The rig simulates the real service conditions under different stresses by means the least dangerous case will be suggested, so the experiments were considered for copper pipe, and the results have been tabulated and drawn to demonstrate the crack growth behavior as well as to justify the outcomes practically, consequently the durabil

Comparing Different Estimators for the shape Parameter and the Reliability function of Kumaraswamy Distribution
...Show More Authors

In this paper, we used maximum likelihood method and the Bayesian method to estimate the shape parameter (θ), and reliability function (R(t)) of the Kumaraswamy distribution with two parameters l , θ (under assuming the exponential distribution, Chi-squared distribution and Erlang-2 type distribution as prior distributions), in addition to that we used method of moments for estimating the parameters of the prior distributions. TWO-PARAMETER GAMMA DISTRIBUTION AND LOG NORMAL DISTRIBUTION FOR DERIVATION OF SYNTHETIC UNIT HYDROGRAPH
...Show More Authors

Most available methods for unit hydrographs (SUH) derivation involve manual, subjective fitting of
a hydrograph through a few data points. The use of probability distributions for the derivation of synthetic
hydrographs had received much attention because of its similarity with unit hydrograph properties. In this
paper, the use of two flexible probability distributions is presented. For each distribution the unknown
parameters were derived in terms of the time to peak(tp), and the peak discharge(Qp). A simple Matlab
program is prepared for calculating these parameters and their validity was checked using comparison
with field data. Application to field data shows that the gamma and lognormal distributions had fit well.<

RADAR PARAMETER GENERATION TO IDENTIFY THE TARGET
...Show More Authors

Due to the popularity of radar, receivers often “hear” a great number of other transmitters in
addition to their own return merely in noise. The dealing with the problem of identifying and/or
separating a sum of tens of such pulse trains from a number of different sources are often received on
the one communication channel. It is then of interest to identify which pulses are from which source,
based on the assumption that the different sources have different characteristics. This search deals with a
graphical user interface (GUI) to generate the radar pulse in order to use the required radar signal in any
specified location.

Suggested method for modifying the site parameter

Estimating multivariate location and scatter with both affine equivariance and positive break down has always been difficult. Awell-known estimator which satisfies both properties is the Minimum volume Ellipsoid Estimator (MVE) Computing the exact (MVE) is often not feasible, so one usually resorts to an approximate Algorithm. In the regression setup, algorithm for positive-break down estimators like Least Median of squares typically recomputed the intercept at each step, to improve the result. This approach is called intercept adjustment. In this paper we show that a similar technique, called location adjustment, Can be applied to the (MVE). For this purpose we use the Minimum Volume Ball (MVB). In order

X-Ray Fluorescence Determination of Trace Elements in Vitamin-Mineral Complexes and Medicinal Herbs Using Chemically Modified Polyurethane Foam Sorbents
...Show More Authors

In this paper we proposed the method of X-ray fluorescence (XRF) determination of some essential trace elements in medicinal herbs and vitamin-mineral complexes at the level of 100-101 mg/ml. To increase sensitivity and selectivity of the determination we simple and effective approach based on the extraction of metal ions from aqueous solutions with chemically modified polyurethane foam sorbents followed by direct XRF analysis. The conditions of sorption preconcentration of Co(II), Ni(II) and Zn(II) ions with modified sorbents were optimized. The proposed approach is used for the determination of trace elements in several kinds of medicinal herbs (coltsfoot leaves, nettle leaves and yarrow herb) and vitamin-mineral

Fluctuations of global crude oil prices and their effect on inflation and economic growth in Iraq " A standard study for the period 1988– 2015

Abstract

That Iraq's dependence on the revenues of the oil product in financing its development programs and growth rates , Making the economy affected by external forces represented by fluctuations in crude oil prices in the global market, Which is directly reflected on the performance and efficiency of the Iraqi economy.

The study adopted its objectives to analyze the time series for the period (1988 - 2015) through the use of standard and statistical methods, Four standard models were estimated to reach those targets, Where the results of the stability test showed instability of most variables at their original level, But to achieve stability when taking the first differences, While the result

ABSTRACT

The controversy is currently revolving around industrial additives, including antioxidants, their negative effects on consumer health and the emergence of various and various diseases, which led scientists and researchers to intensify most studies on natural antioxidants and their synthesis from medicinal plants mentioned in ancient medicine and in divine books as potential antioxidants of increasing importance. Therefore, this study was designed to synthesize silver nitrate particles from plant leaf extracts (Figs, Olives, and Moringa) and study their effect on bacterial inhibition of each of the undesirable Coliform bacteria (E-Coli,
