Early diagnosis and clinical decision-making depend on accurate brain tumor classification using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). However, traditional deep learning methods usually rely on centralized medical data, which raises privacy concerns and limits the use of distributed clinical data. This research proposes a privacy-preserving federated learning framework for MRI image-based binary brain tumor classification using a decentralized ResNet-18 architecture that enables collaborative training without sharing raw patient data. To reflect realistic clinical conditions, the framework integrates heterogeneous multi-source datasets in different image formats (PNG and JPG) and evaluates performance under both IID and non-IID settings. Experiments were conducted using the Kaggle Brain Tumor MRI dataset and Mendeley Data distributed across five simulated institutions. Within the evaluated experimental setup, the proposed framework achieved approximately 92% accuracy under IID conditions and 91.5% under non-IID settings, with an F1-score of approximately 0.90. Client-level evaluation demonstrated the model’s ability to handle data heterogeneity, while convergence analysis indicated stable training behavior across communication rounds. In addition, Grad-CAM visualization was employed to provide visual interpretability, showing that the model focuses on clinically relevant anatomical regions during prediction. Overall, the results demonstrate that combining federated learning with heterogeneous multi-source MRI data can preserve privacy, maintain robustness and interpretability, and achieve competitive classification performance, highlighting the potential of federated deep learning as a practical and scalable solution for privacy-aware medical image analysis in realistic clinical environments.

The physical and elastic characteristics of rocks determine rock strengths in general. Rock strength is frequently assessed using porosity well logs such as neutron and sonic logs. The essential criteria for estimating rock mechanic parameters in petroleum engineering research are uniaxial compressive strength and elastic modulus. Indirect estimation using well-log data is necessary to measure these variables. This study attempts to create a single regression model that can accurately forecast rock mechanic characteristics for the Harth Carbonate Formation in the Fauqi oil field. According to the findings of this study, petrophysical parameters are reliable indexes for determining rock mechanical properties having good performance p

Practical data was obtained by using industrial heat exchanger operating in power generation department of Dura refinery. The commonly used Back Propagation (BP) algorithm was used to train and test networks by divided the data to three samples (training, validation and testing data) to give more approach data with actual case. Inputs of the neural network include inlet water temperature, inlet air temperature and mass flow rate of air. Two outputs (exit water temperature to cooling tower and exit air temperature to second stage of air compressor) were taken in ANN.

Sometimes poverty takes multidimensional trends through education and health. The research aims at studying multidimensional poverty in Iraq by using panelized regression methods, to analyze Big Data sets from demographical surveys collected by the Central Statistical Organization in Iraq. We choose classical penalized regression method represented by The Ridge Regression, Moreover; we choose another penalized method which is the Smooth Integration of Counting and Absolute Deviation (SICA) to analyze Big Data sets related to the different poverty forms in Iraq. Deep learning is a modern, vital and superior machine learning that gives stunning performance, especially with huge data. Stock market price prediction is the process of determining the future value of a prospect of a financial instrument traded in the market, to gain a great profit a successful prediction must be conducted, in order to achieve that machine learning is used, in this article, two approaches are proposed to predict the stock market prices and movement using two datasets, the first approach employs two machine learning models (J48 & logistic regression) while the second approach based on rec

frog. Rana ridibunda during its hibernation. It was found that, almost, all frogs enter
hibernation during the last week of December and emerge from hibernation during the first
week of March. Hence, January and February are considered the hibernation period.
December is the pre-hibernation period and March is the post-hibernation period. The
reduction in percent of body lipid during the hibernation period was 4.8% in males and 7.7%
in females. The reduction in percent of lipid of fat bodies during the hibernation period was
2.758% in males and 0.733% in females.
The calorific value of R. ridibunda lipid amounted to 1233
Accurate estimation of permeability is essential for reliable reservoir characterization and simulation. However, core data are often limited due to their high cost and operational constraints, leading to significant uncertainty in uncored intervals. This study aims to reduce the dependence on core data for permeability estimation by integrating electrofacies derived from well logs and flow zone indicator analysis in the Mishrif Formation, Nasiriyah oil field. Electrofacies were generated using dynamic clustering based on the log data from 13 wells. This led to the identification of five electrofacies units that represent intervals with similar log responses, formed by merging 75 electrofacies, where flow zone indicators analysis id
