Nearly 50% of infertility cases are caused by male causes. Although low sperm counts, abnormal sperm morphology, and impaired sperm motility are recognized causes, the underlying reasons remain unknown in 25% of instances.(Inhorn and Patrizio, 2014). Human infertility is reliant on the meiotic process, which leads to the development of germ cells. This procedure is extremely radiation-sensitive. the relationship between radiation exposure and infertility is thought to originate from DNA damage induced by free radicals originating from radiation ionization. DNA damage might cause some mutations or cause cell death (apoptosis). Iraqi siliceous rocks were chosen to be used as raw materials in this study which is concern with the linear shrinkage and their related parameters. They are porcelinite from Safra area (western desert) and Kaolin Duekla, their powders were mixed in certain percentage, to shape compacts and sintered. The study followed with thermal and chemical treatments, which are calcination and acid washing. The effects on final compact properties such as linear shrinkage were studied. Linear shrinkage was calculated for sintered compacts to study the effects of calcination processes, chemical washing, weight percentage, sintering processes, loading moment were studied on this property where the compacts for groups is insulating materials.

The present study was conducted to determine the pathogenicity of Paecilomyces farinosus as biocontrol agents against Tragoderma granarium (khapra) under laboratory conditions with three concentrations ( 2.8 x 108 , 2.8 x 106 ,2.8 x104 spores/ ml).
