The study was conducted at the fields of the Dept. of Horticulture and Garden Engineering, College of the Agricultural Engineering Sciences, Jadriyah in the fall season of 2020-2021 aiming to culture the coral lettuce with green and red leaves under the hydroponics system using the modified nutrient solution film NFT and study the effect of aqueous extracts of alfalfa and berseem sprouted seeds on the quantitative and qualitative yield of the lettuce crop. The research was conducted as an experiment of split plots within the Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) of three replicates. The seedlings of the green coral lettuce, Locarno RZ, and red coral lettuce, Locarno RZ, symbolized by A and B respectively, were transferred to the culture system on 1/10/2020. Lettuce hybrids were regarded as the less important factor (main plot). The plants were sprayed with aqueous extracts of the alfalfa sprouted seeds at the two concentrations of 5 and 10%, symbolized by T1 and T2, and with aqueous extracts of the berseem sprouted seeds at the two concentrations of 5 and 10%, symbolized by T3 and T4, respectively, in addition to the control treatment (spraying with distilled water only), symbolized by T0. They were sprayed to full wetness three times at an interval of 10 days. This was regarded as the most important factor (subplot). Each experimental unit contained 10 plants. Results showed significant superiority of the treatment AT2 in the leaf chlorophyll content, number of leaves, leaf area and dry weight of vegetative growth (80.00 mg.100g fresh weight-1, 37.00 leaf.plant-1, 144.05 dcm2.plant-1, 10.97 g.plant-1 respectively) compared to the lowest value of the treatment BT0 (60.56 mg.100g fresh weight-1, 19.00 leaf.plant-1, 63.32 dcm2.plant-1 and 5.65g.plant-1 respectively). The same treatment (AT2) was superior in the highest root dry weight, and plant yield amounted to 1.92 and 364.35g.plant-1, respectively compared to the lowest values at the treatment AT0, recording 0.75 and 219.92g.plant -1 respectively. The interaction treatments' effect was insignificant on the content of β-carotene and VC in the leaves. We concluded that it is possible to culture the coral lettuce hydroponically and increase its productivity through spraying with the aqueous extracts of the alfalfa sprouted seeds at the concentration of 5%, which did not record a significant difference in the production from the treatment of spraying with aqueous extracts of the alfalfa sprouted seeds at 10%. The problem of research on the study of political debate programs in the Iraqi satellite channels, in the "People decide" program by Afaq channel and " electoral competition " by Fallujah channel), and its importance for the community and researchers in the scientific field, as new programs to enter the Iraqi media after we have been the world media a lot in this area at the academic and practical levels (The field), and seeks to find out what the technical construction of the programs of political debates in Iraqi satellite channels and methods of construction and methods of employment used by the technical elements in the presentation of the programs and The study adopted the surve |
In this golden age of rapid development surgeons realized that AI could contribute to healthcare in all aspects, especially in surgery. The aim of the study will incorporate the use of Convolutional Neural Network and Constrained Local Models (CNN-CLM) which can make improvement for the assessment of Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy (LC) surgery not only bring opportunities for surgery but also bring challenges on the way forward by using the edge cutting technology. The problem with the current method of surgery is the lack of safety and specific complications and problems associated with safety in each laparoscopic cholecystectomy procedure. When CLM is utilize into CNN models, it is effective at predicting time series tasks like iden

Methodology: A descriptive design is conducted from the period of 19th September 2020 to the 6th of March 2021. A non-probability (convenient) sample of (292) parents was selected from (5) primary health care centers in Karbala city. These centers are distributed throughout (2) primary health care sectors selected randomly as (20%) from each sectors. The questionnaire is developed and composed of three parts: First part: parent's socio-demographic characteristics, Second part: parents' attitude domain, which involves (13 items), and
Background: Immune thrombocytopenia is an immune-related disorder that causes an impairment in platelet production and stimulates platelet destruction, causing variable bleeding symptoms. Objective: This study focuses on refractory immune thrombocytopenic purpura patients on romiplostim treatment and their level of illness perception related to treatment response. Method: A cross-sectional study was conducted from May 1st, 2025, to August 1st, 2025. Brief Illness Perception Questionnaires were administered to 84 patients with ITP to collect the data. The study took place at the Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplant Center, Medical City, Baghdad, Iraq. Results: The romiplostim response rate is 21 (25.0%), while the partial response rate is 4

After giving a survey of literature written on the meaning and definition of a speaking test assessment, two sections have been devoted to tackle the most important issues in this topic. Section one, which is the theoretical part of this paper, sheds light on the basic definitions of the term ‘speaking assessment’ which are, according to the researcher’s point of view, sufficient to cover the area of the study. This section based on applied linguistic theories and researches in order to enhance our understanding of the what is meant by «a speaking test assessment«In addition,it explains the most importan

This study Evaluate the diagnostic value of serum kidney injury molecule-1(KIM-1) and cystatin C (CysC) as early biochemical markers of DKD and predictive their sensitivities and specificities as biomarkers of nephropathy in Iraqi type 2 diabetic (T2DM) patients. This cross-sectional study include 161 T2DM patients from Diabetes and Endocrinology Center at Merjan medical city in Babylon. Patients divided according to urinary albumin creatinine ratio(ACR) (Group1:ACR≤30mg/g,Group2:ACR>30mg/g). Random spot urine and fasting blood samples were taken from each patient and urinary ACR, bloo

Materials and Method: A total of 73 Cone beam computed tomography for Iraqi patients (47 females and 26 males) were included in this study. The selected images were captured and imported to AutoCAD database software to perform the measurement. To measure alveolar bone thickness, a reference line was drawn through the long axis of each incisor, from the incisal edge to the root apex. Then, labial and lingual/palatal perpendicular lines were drawn to the reference line at 3, 6, and 9mm apically from the cemento-enamel junction (CEJ). Results: The buccal bone is generally thinner than the lingual/palata

The prepared ligand was characterized using a microanalysis technique (C.H.N), UV-vis, FTIR, 1H-,13C-NMR, mass spectrometry, and thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA). New complexes were synthesized by a reaction between ligand (N'1E,N'2Z)-N'1,N'2-bis((1-hydroxynaphthalen-2yl)methylene)phthalohydrazide and metal chloride of Co+2, Ni+2, and Zn+2 ions in absolute ethanol. The present complexes are also characterized by techniques such as C.H.N, UV-vis, FTIR, TGA, molar conductivity, atomic absorption, and magnetic moment measurements. The in vitro antimicro
