Osteoporosis is a prevalent systemic metabolic disorder characterized by a reduction in bone mass and bone density, damage in microstructure of bone tissue, and raised bone fragility causing of fracture susceptibility. This study included 189 Iraqi adults aged 45–75 years, evaluating serum levels TGF-β3 and WNT5A across three groups: healthy individuals (n = 31) as control, those with primary osteoporosis/osteopenia (n = 61), and with comorbidity-related osteoporosis (linked to β-thalassemia, parathyroid disorders or diabetes; n = 97). Among those, β-thalassemia-associated osteoporosis patients showed the most distinct decrease in bone mineral density (0.57 ± 0.078 g/cm², p < 0.0001) along with marked increases in WNT5A (0.89 ± 0.68). Based on disease context, the level of TGF-β3 varied, peaking in thalassemia cases (0.28 ± 0.18 ng/mL). Significant disease-specific correlations were noticed, comprising moderate positive relationships between TGF-β3 and WNT5A (r = 0.433, p = 0.017) in diabetes patients, as well as a negative correlation between HbA1c and TGF-β3 in diabetes (r = −0.503, p = 0.047). Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) analysis highlighted WNT5A (AUC ≤ 0.882, sensitivity ≤ 81%) and TGF-β3 (AUC ≤ 0.891) as effective biomarkers for distinguishing thalassemia-related osteoporosis. These results underscore the role of comorbidities in altering stress response and signaling pathways, and support the use of WNT5A and TGF-β3 as promising diagnostic markers for targeted osteoporosis management in high-risk populations.
Abstract
The current study aims to study one Firas Al- Himdani's Romeyat poems (320 – 357 AH), he was one of sham poets in the era of the Abbasid as to know the glories of the knight and Arabic poet, whose message led to preserve the honor of the nation and Islam prestige , along with exposing the better one . His message includes Arabic merits and high values in respect of chivalry , encouragement , sacrifice , forgiveness and tolerance in addition to morality and patience .
Background: Medicinal plants that possess antimicrobial and antioxidant properties have garnered significant attention for their role in maintaining food quality, improving safety, and impeding spoilage. They also can aid in controlling food contamination risks and augmenting the nutritional value of foods. Objective: The study aimed to obtain botanical extracts possessing antimicrobial capabilities and use them to inhibit the growth of molds and yeasts. Additionally, these extracts are aimed at prolonging product shelf life by harnessing their antioxidant attributes. Methods: Several microorganisms, including E. coli and Pseudomonas, were subjected to testing. Ethanolic alcohol, chloroform, and essential oil extracts were prepared;

And examined the environmental characteristics of physical, chemical and biological factors during the study period from September 2009 to June 2010. It is obtained that wells in the study area is lower alkalinity, average it ranged (6.448-7.418). It was noted that the values of the dissolved oxygen are few and almost non-existent in some cases it ranged between (6.5-6.3)mg/l , analysis of biological oxygen demand refers to wells water (clean- very clean) average

So, it is necessary to search for tools which help prevent phenomena like this, and one of these tools is (corporate governance) which represent controlling tool that contribute in reducing corruption. this study aims at modifying (corporate governance system)in order to make it suitable with Iraqi government Corporations. the study depend upon main hypothesis which is (the performance level of the strategic perspective of governance system is depending upon work according to the perspective dimensions itself. The structure of polymer layer generated on the stainless steel surface (316 L) (working electrode) is investigated by Fourier Transmission Infrared Region (FT-IR). The anti-corrosion activity of polymer coating on the stainless steel (SS 316 L) is investigated by electrochemical polarization in 0.20M solution of HCl at 293-323K. The graphene -modified polymer film-coated SS had greater protection efficiency (PE percent) when compared to Nano ZnO -modified polymer film-coated SS. This in vitro study was designed to evaluate the surface roughness offiber-reinforced polymer composite (FRPC) archwires compared to coated nickel-titanium (NiTi) archwires immersed in artificial saliva. Materials and Methods:Three types of esthetic orthodontic archwires were used: FRPC (Dentaurum), Teflon coated NiTi (Dentaurum) and epoxy coated NiTi (Orthotechnology). They were round (0.018 inch) in cross section and cut into pieces of 15 mm in length.Forty pieces from each type were divided into four groups; one group was left at a dry condition and the other three groups were immersed in artificial saliva (

The research was focused spatially (America) between the year 1950-1975 AD and it defined the research problem by asking about what factors and variables that established the social imagination in culture Al-Gharbia, which in turn crystallized the Western cultural product to appear in its form, which is historically called "pop art". Two studies were adopted in the second chapter. The first one was the cultural structure of the social imagination. The second topic was concerned with the stylistic diversity of pop art, and the third chapter included research and accreditation procedures. Ther
