This study evaluates the performance of magnetic abrasive finishing (MAF) of aluminum alloy in terms of achieving materials removal (MR). A vertical milling machine is used to perform the finishing process using a developed MAF unit that consists of an inductor made out of a 150 mm long and 20 mm diameter iron core wound with 1500 turns and 0.5 mm copper wire. The commutator and magnetic pole are attached at the top and bottom of the inductor, respectively. The required current is supplied using a DC power supply. The South Pole workpiece is a 100×50×3 mm3 plate of AA 1100 aluminum alloy, whereas the magnetic pole represented the North Pole. Pole rotational speed, applied current, and abrasive finishing time was selected as input parameters of the MAF with three-level of (270, 600. 930 rpm; 0.5, 1, 1.5 Amp; 6,9,12 min). The L9 orthogonal array of the Taguchi method was utilized to examine the impact of each independent input. The obtained results clarify that applied current was the most effective factor in terms of its contribution (63.16%) in the produced MR, followed by time finishing and rotational speed.
Abstract
The current research aims to identify the effect of using a model of generative learning in the achievement of first-middle students of chemical concepts in science. The researcher adopted the null hypothesis, which is there is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group who study using the generative learning model and the average scores of the control group who study using the traditional method in the chemical concepts achievement test. The research consisted of (200) students of the first intermediate at Al-Farqadin Intermediate School for Boys affiliated with the Directorate of General Education in Baghdad Governorate / Al-Karkh 3 wit

Factorial experiment was implemented in completely randomized design with twenty replications. The results indicated that culturing the apical meristem on the medium Murashige and Skoog (MS) media with 0.5 mg.l-1 (BA) with 0.1 mg.l-1 of NAA gave the highest response rate of 100%. As for the doubling stage, the levels of BAA and IAA (Indol

Show MoreIn this paper, the effect of temperature on the charge transfer rate of dye (N3) in contact with ZnS semiconductors is discussed and studied when electrons move from the excited N3 dye to the conduction band of ZnS based on quantum shift theory. In a heterogeneous system, the energy levels are assumed to be continuous, and the N3-ZnS system is surrounded by a variety of polar solvent media. The transition energy of the N3/ZnS heterojunction was calculated using seven different solvents at room temperature, considering the refractive index and dielectric constant of the solvents and the ZnS semiconductor, respectively. The charge-transport reaction rate was calculated over different te
An experiment in the semester, the second semester of the academic year (2022-2023), and the data used was not processed (the second test for two independent, inaccurate samples, the Bermon correlation coefficient, and the Spearman correlation coefficient), and the following results were reached: There is a statistically significant difference at the level of ( 0) average, 05) between the third grade who studied the plan for asking cluster questions, and between the average of those who studied the special feature according to the traditional method of selecting achievement, and enjoyed completing the specialization, choosing the experimental group, because the strategy of asking cluster questions is one of the externalities that... It is found that the critical frequency of this layer is closely related to the sunspots number during the years of the solar cycle 22, at a middle latitude region of the world. The study discussed the effect of sunspot numbers and solar events on the electron densities of F1 layer, which is the most important ionospheric parameter.

The study aimed to measure the effect of applying the disclosure and transparency standards criteria adopted by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority on improving performance indicators in the Saudi banking sector, by measuring the extent of the impact of the bank's financial indicators represented by liquidity, profitability and return on assets in Saudi banks by applying the criteria of disclosure and transparency, which is one of the Main principles in the list of governance, which was approved by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority. The analytical approach was followed to achieve the goal of the study, as the financial statements of Saudi banks were analyzed during a period of 8-year to test four hypotheses related to measuri
