Study the Effect of Residence Time Parameters on Thermal Cracking Extract Phase Lubricating Oil
...Show More Authors

This work studies with produce of light fuel fractions of gasoline, kerosene and gas oil from treatment of residual matter that will be obtained from the solvent extraction process as by product from refined lubricate to improve oil viscosity index in any petroleum refinery. The percentage of this byproduct is approximately 10% according to all feed (crude oil) in the petroleum refinery process. The objective of this research is to study the effect of the residence time parameter on the thermal cracking process of the byproduct feed at a constant temperature, (400 °C). The first step of this treatment is the thermal cracking of this byproduct material by a constructed batch reactor occupied with control device at a selective range of residence time (duration of the reaction) 30, 45, 60 and 75 minutes respectively at a constant temperature (400 °C). The conversion of this byproduct by thermal cracking process reaches 90% for all these residence times. The second step for this study is distillation this cracked extract liquid by atmospheric distillation device, for these various residence times according to the ASTM-D86 method, to obtain light fuel fractions of gasoline, kerosene and gas oil,in volume percentages  15, 75 and 0 for residence time 30, 5, 60 and 25, for residence time 45, 5, 10, 75, for residence time 60 and (10, 60 and 20) for residence time 75, which separates according to its boiling point. The major physical and chemical properties for feed (extract phase) and cracking extract liquid with its light fuel fractions were experimentally calculated and the results refer to acceptable properties compared with other standard property.

Effects of Diode Laser 940 nm with and without 5 % Sodium Fluoride White Varnish with Tri-calcium Phosphate on Dentin Permeability (In vitro study)
...Show More Authors

It is found that hypersensitive teeth have a larger number and wider patent tubules than those of non-sensitive teeth. Objective: The aim of this study is to compare between the effects of diode laser at different power densities, with and without sodium fluoride on the sealing of exposed dentinal tubules and dentin permeability. Materials and methods: 118 teeth were used. Samples were divided into three major groups. The first consisted of 100 teeth used for permeability test. The second consisted of 16 teeth for measuring external surface temperature elevation while irradiation. The third, in turn, consisted of one pair of teeth observed under SEM for dentine surface morphology analysis. Results: For dentin permeability measurement, th

Study of the Effect of Diabetes Mellitus I on Bone Mineral Density of Upper and Lower Limbs by Dual-Energy X-Ray Absorptiometry
...Show More Authors

Background: Bone mineral density (BMD) has been assessed using Dual-Energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA). This procedure is considered to be of vital importance in assessing the general condition of individuals concerning their skeletal mineralization. BMD is measured according to the results of the DEXA examination of the vertebral column and pelvis. Although diabetes mellitus (D.M.)is known to affect BMD, the information regarding this relationship is not currently particularly clear. Objective: This study concentrates on the point that the assessment of BMD for the vertebral column is insuffi-cient to give a realistic and correct picture of the mineralization of the remaining part of the skeleton. Besides, this study elicited a gen

The political parties are considered to be the basic infrastructure in the political process for their great role in achieving the political movement in the country and to work on implementing the goals and interests of its voters in the event of their coming to power. If the parties that totalitarianism led to monopoly and monopolization, We can not talk in these countries about the liberal concept of the party and can not talk about the existence of a law or laws and regulations governing and regulate the work of parties. But on the other hand, which is represented by the liberal state, we find a lot of talk and practice about the form and nature of the legitimate law in regulating the formation of parties and their work in a manner th

The research is based on the basic idea that companies today are moving towards a new trend towards protecting the environment coupled with the increasing wareness of the pollution damage caused by these companies due to their operations and activities in the environment. The two main reasons that led the researchers to choose this subject is the need to adapt the companies themselves in response to successive developments, The great development was that companies moved from the sole economic responsibility of the business to social responsibility by emphasizing socially responsible profit. The problem of research is the knowledge of the availability of the dimensions of the green processing series in Kirkuk Cement Factory The re

Reflective Mercifulness and its Implications for Social Cohesion / field study in Baghdad Governorate
...Show More Authors

Mercifulness is a trait of civilization, humanity, and a moral value in society, because it has an impact on social life and its role in spreading interdependence, joint liability, and solidarity among people. Mercifulness means spreading mercy, synergy, sympathy, and cooperation.       Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), Natural gas (NG) and hydrogen were used to operate spark ignition internal combustion engine Ricardo E6, to compare NOx emissions emitted from the engine, with that emitted from engine fueled with gasoline as a fuel.

The study was done when engine operated at HUCR for gasoline, compared with its operation at HUCR for each fuel. Compression ratio, equivalence ratio and spark timing were studied at constant speed 25rps.

The results appeared that NOx concentrations will be at maximum value in the lean side near the stoichiometric ratio, and reduced with moving away from this ratio for mixture at both s
