A real method of predication brake pad wear ,could lead to substantiol economies of time and money. This paper describes how such a procedure has been used and gives the results to establish is reliability by comparing the predicted wear with that which actually occurs in an existing service. The experimental work was carried out on three different commercial samples ,tested under different operation conditions (speed,load,time...etc)using a test ring especially modified for this purpose. Abrasive wear is mainly studied , since it is the type of wear that takes place in such arrangements. Samples wear tested in presences of sand or mud between the mating surfaces under different operational conditions of speed, load and braking time .Mechanical properties of the pad material samples (hardness, young,s modulus and collapse load under pure bending condition )wear established . The thermal conductivity and surface roughness of the pad material wear also found in order to enable comparison between the surface condition before and after testing. Sliding velocity had a small effect on the wear rate but it had great effect on friction coefficient. Wear rate was affected mainly by the surface temperature which causing a reduction friction coefficient and increasing the wear rate. Surface roughness had almost no effect on the wear rate since it was proved experimentally ,that the surface becomes softer during operation .mechanical properties of the pad material had fluctuating effect on wear rate. The existence of solid particles between pad and disc increasing wear rate and friction coefficient while the mud caused a reduction in wear rate of the pad surface since it acts as a lubricant absorbing the surface heat generated during sliding the area of contact between pad and disc. wear rate obtained experimentally agreed fairly well that found from empirically obtained equations.
Electrocardiogram (ECG) is an important physiological signal for cardiac disease diagnosis. With the increasing use of modern electrocardiogram monitoring devices that generate vast amount of data requiring huge storage capacity. In order to decrease storage costs or make ECG signals suitable and ready for transmission through common communication channels, the ECG data
volume must be reduced. So an effective data compression method is required. This paper presents an efficient technique for the compression of ECG signals. In this technique, different transforms have been used to compress the ECG signals. At first, a 1-D ECG data was segmented and aligned to a 2-D data array, then 2-D mixed transform was implemented to compress the
The main objective of this study is to get a secure broadcasting in real time applications for audio files (precisely the Wave type) and to increase the degree of complexity of the encrypt/decrypt arithmetic operations in the finite . field GF(28) on these files. This objective can be achieved by implementing different proposed architectures, methods and algorithms both in block and stream cipher structure to increase the degree of complexity. For high utilization of resources and fast execution time of operations in cryptographic processes in the proposed cryptographic algorithms, the parallel computing was implemented by using OpenMP directives. The AES Rijndael algorithm has been considered as a base for the developed algorithms in the b

Is the subject of environmental analysis of the important issues that should occupy the attention of the departments of banks in general and banks in particular, the research sample, regardless of their size and the nature of its activity, So if the current era and witnessing rapid developments and changes, making the banking environment is more complex and interconnected than ever, And it became not possible for banks to be aware and understand the external environment variables without an analysis of the various constituent elements and influential heavily in its financial and administrative,Therefore research aims to find out the relationship between the external environment and banking facilities analysis application on the Rafidain

It is Currently considered one of the most important properties of development to the countries of the world The criteria provided by computers such as accuracy, speed, time saving Storage and restore have led them to be widely used in economy, industry, agriculture, communications, etc., as well as being the major finder of reengineering the operations of innovation. The use of computers in the preparation of budgets will lead to achieve accuracy. Since, the operation draws upon the statistic and quantity estimations about budget items, the computerized balance sheet may save time and effort of preparing mathematical equations annually. According to the problem o

The study of marketing margins and efficiency is important to understand the marketing problems that face parties of the marketing process. The aim of the research is to measure the efficiency margins and the most important marketing channels for marketing chicken meat in the province of Baghdad and to identify the most important marketing problems facing marketers of the commodity. The absolute marketing margins were (0, 1360, 1570, 1545) for the four channels respectively, while the price paid by the consumer was variable according to the marketing channel (3150, 3790, 3920, 4065) for the four channels respectively. The purpose of this study is to investigate the histopathological response of dentinopulpal
response of human teeth to the Er: YAG laser cavity preparation in comparison with the conventional
class I cavity preparation. Thirty five sound human upper and lower first premolar teeth which were
needed to be extracted for orthodontic purposes were used in the study. Regarding to the method of
cavity preparation, the teeth were grouped into three groups; Group1; Control group which consists of
seven sound teeth without cavity preparation, Group2; Conventional cavity preparation group and group
3; Er: YAG laser cavity preparation group. Each of Group2 and3 consists of fourteen teeth that is
subdivided into: A. 7teeth that e
The study aims to investigate the effect of Al2O3 and Al additions to Nickel-base superalloys as a coating layer on oxidation resistance, and structural behavior of nickel superalloys such as IN 738 LC. Nickel-base superalloys are popular as base materials for hot components in industrial gas turbines such as blades due to their superior mechanical performance and high-temperature oxidation resistance, but the combustion gases' existence generates hot oxidation at high temperatures for long durations of time, resulting in corrosion of turbine blades which lead to massive economic losses. Turbine blades used in Iraqi electrical gas power stations require costly maintenance using traditional processes regularly. These blades are made
