Guiding Mobile Robot by Applying Fuzzy Approach on Sonar Sensors
...Show More Authors

This study describes how fuzzy logic control FLC can be applied to sonars of mobile robot. The fuzzy logic approach has effects on the navigation of mobile robots in a partially known environment that are used in different industrial and society applications. The fuzzy logic provides a mechanism for combining sensor data from all sonar sensors which present different information. The FLC approach is achieved by means of Fuzzy Decision Making method type of fuzzy logic controller. The proposed controller is responsible for the obstacle avoidance of the mobile robot while traveling through a map from a home point to a goal point. The FLC is built as a subprogram based on the intelligent architecture (IA). The software program uses the Advanced Robotics Interface for Applications (ARIA), it is programmed with C++ package ( Visual C++.Net ), and Networking software is used for setup Wireless TCP/IP Ethernet-to-Serial connection between robot and PC. The results show that the developed mobile robot travels successfully from one location to another and reaches its goal after avoiding all obstacles that are located in its way. The platform mobile robot is a Pioneer 3 DX that is equipped with Sonar sensors.

Robust Adaptive Sliding Mode Controller for a Nonholonomic Mobile Platform
...Show More Authors

In this paper, a robust adaptive sliding mode controller is designed for a mobile platform trajectory tracking. The mobile platform is an example of a nonholonomic mechanical system. The presence of holonomic constraints reduces the number of degree of freedom that represents the system model, while the nonholonomic constraints reduce the differentiable degree of freedom. The mathematical model was derived here for the mobile platform, considering the existence of one holonomic and two nonholonomic constraints imposed on system dynamics. The partial feedback linearization method was used to get the input-output relation, where the output is the error functions between the position of a certain point on the platform

LOW-‎COST SOIL ‎MOISTURE SENSORS’ ASSESSMENT FOR THEIR ACCURACY AFTER CALIBRATION THROUGH THE ‎GRAVIMETRIC METHOD
...Show More Authors

The existing study aimed to assess four soil moisture sensors’ capacitive (WH51 and SKU: S EN0193) and resistive (Yl69 and IC Station) abilities, which are affordable and medium-priced for their accuracy in six common soil types in the central region of Iraq. The readings’ calibration for the soil moisture sensor devices continued through two gravimetric methods. The first depended on the protocols’ database, while the second was the traditional calibration method. The second method recorded the lowest analysis error compared with the first. The moderate-cost sensor WH51 showed the lowest standard error (SE), MAD , and RMSE and the highest R² in both methods. The performance accuracy of WH51 was close to readings shown by the manufac

Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR)-Based Multimode Optical Fiber Sensors for Electrical Transformer Oil Aging Detection
...Show More Authors

I

In this study, optical fibers were designed and implemented as a chemical sensor based on surface plasmon resonance (SPR) to estimate the age of the oil used in electrical transformers. The study depends on the refractive indices of the oil. The sensor was created by embedding the center portion of the optical fiber in a resin block, followed by polishing, and tapering to create the optical fiber sensor. The tapering time was 50 min. The multi-mode optical fiber was coated with 60 nm thickness gold metal. The deposition length was 4 cm. The sensor's resonance wavelength was 415 nm. The primary sensor parameters were calculated, including sensitivity (6.25), signal-to-noise ratio (2.38), figure of merit (4.88), and accuracy (3.2)

Baghdad governorate has many areas of distinctive architectural and architectural character, which are heritage and valuable areas that we must preserve and take care of. But we see many manifestations of it, which have a negative impact on buildings, areas and roads, so that they distort the view and thus lead to visual pollution in general. The research examined the visual pollution from random advertising, which stretched buildings, walls, electricity poles and sidewalks. The study covered different areas of al-Karkh and al-Rassafa (Jadreya Bridge, Nation Square, Jordan Square, alkindy Street)Most of the distortions were the result of non-removable posters, Handwriting, election candidate adve

Application of Fuzzy Logic in Servo Motor
...Show More Authors

In this work the design and application of a fuzzy logic controller to DC-servomotor is investigated. The proposed strategy is intended to improve the performance of the original control system by use of a fuzzy logic controller (FLC) as the motor load changes. Computer simulation demonstrates that FLC is effective in position control of a DC-servomotor comparing with conventional one.

Fuzzy Logic and its Application in Linguistics
...Show More Authors

The purpose of this paper is to shed light on the concept of fuzzy logic ,its application in linguistics ,especially in language teaching and the fuzziness of some lexical items in English.
Fuzziness means that the semantic boundaries of some lexical items are indefinite and ideterminate.Fuzzy logic provides a very precise approach for dealing with this indeterminacy and uncertainty which grows (among other reasons) out of human behavior and the effect of society.
The concept of fuzzy logic has emerged in the development of the theory of fuzzy set by Lotfi Zadeh(a professor of computer science at the university of California) in 1965.It can be thought of as the application side of the fuzzy set theory. In linguistics, few scholars

Abstract
The aim of this paper is to introduce the notion of hyper fuzzy AT-ideals on hyper AT-algebra. Also, hyper fuzzy AT-subalgebras and fuzzy hyper AT-ideal of hyper AT-algebras are studied. We study on the fuzzy theory of hyper AT-subalgebras and hyper AT-ideal of hyper AT-algebras. Furthermore, the fuzzy set theory of the (weak, strong, s-weak) hyper fuzzy ATideals in hyper AT-algebras are applied and the relations among them are obtained.
