Numerical Modeling of Water Movement from Buried Vertical Ceramic Pipes through Coarse Soils
...Show More Authors

Problem of water scarcity is becoming common in many parts of the world.  Thus to overcome this problem proper management of water and an efficient irrigation systems are needed.  Irrigation with buried vertical ceramic pipe is known as a very effective in management of irrigation water.  The two- dimensional transient flow of water from a buried vertical ceramic pipe through homogenous porous media is simulated numerically using the software HYDRUS/2D to predict empirical formulas that describe the predicted results accurately.   Different values of pipe lengths and hydraulic conductivity were selected.  In addition, different values of initial volumetric soil water content were assumed in this simulation as initial conditions.  Different values of applied head were assumed in this simulation as a boundary conditions.  In general, a good agreement was obtained when comparing the predicted results with available measured values.  The results of this research showed that greater spreading occur in vertical direction.  Increasing applied heads, initial soil water contents, pipe hydraulic conductivities, cause increasing the size of wetting patterns.  Also the results showed that the empirical formulas which can be used for expressing the wetted width and depth in terms of applied head, initial soil water content, application time, pipe hydraulic conductivity, and pipe length, are good and can be used as a designing equations.

Premiums and compensations and their impact on the financial solvency of insurance companies: applied research in the Iraqi General Insurance Company
...Show More Authors

The collected premiums and the compensations paid are among the main variables that have a prominent role in determining the level of financial solvency of insurance companies, as the higher the financial solvency of the insurance company, the more attractive it is to the target audience to acquire the company's insurance services.

Hence the importance of the issue of the solvency of insurance companies, as it is one of the critical matters on which the effectiveness of the insurance company and its continuation in the labor market depend.

In this research, we try to clarify the role of collected premiums and compensations paid in determining the level of operational solvency of t

The results of research to reach the conditions that prevents the emergence of primary or secondary voids and achieve worker benefit from molded by almost 100%, which was the situation that cast poured in a mold heated and insulated from all sides to achieve freezing directional full starting from the region remote from the casting and ending then. Has also been compared to the microscopic structure of the resulting castings of various molding conditions, as these conditions have achieved the best sound microscopic structures.

The effect of rehabilitative exercises according to some kinematic variables in relieving lower back pain for women aged 25-35 old
...Show More Authors

Abstract The purpose of this paper is preparing exercises according to some biomechanical variables for women with low back pain and identifying the effect of exercise according to some biomechanical variables and relieving lower back pain for women. The researchers used the one-group experimental design. The sample was chosen by the intentional method to provide the necessary conditions for conducting the study, and they represent the research community and its sample. The researchers also excluded (2) of the injured women because they did not adhere to the rehabilitation sessions, and for the purpose of ensuring the homogeneity of the sample members, the researchers used the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and the torsion coefficient

The Role of Human Resources Strategic Management on Enhancing Talent Success Factors; Exploratory analytical research in the General Authority for Tourism
...Show More Authors

The research aims to verify the role of the Human Resources Strategic Management (HRSM) in enhancing the strategic success factors for talent (SSFT) in the General Tourism Authority by distributing a questionnaire consisting of (36) paragraphs on an intentional sample represented by the higher departments as it reached (50) and the sample valid for testing was (44) Person and to test the relationships between the two research variables, the researchers used statistical methods represented by (Bartlett test / mean / simple regression coefficient / difference coefficient, alpha- cronbachAch, confirmatory factor Analysis ) through the statistical program (SPSS v.23 & AMOS v.23). In enhancing the factors of success for talent management in the

Study the contrast of thermal expansion behavior for PMMA denture base, single and hybrid reinforced using the thermomechanical analysis technique (TMA)
...Show More Authors

This research investigated the effect of adding two groups of reinforcement materials, including bioactive materials Hydroxyapatite (HA) and halloysite nanoclay and bioinert materials Alumina (AL2O3) and Zirconia (ZrO2), each of them with various weight ratios (1,2,3,4 &5)% to the polymer matrix PMMA. The best ratios were selected, and then a hybrid was preparing Composite red from the best ratios from each group. Thermal properties, including thermal conductivity and Thermomechanical Analysis (TMA) technology, have been studied. The results showed that adding 3% Hydroxyapatite (HA) and 5% halloysite nanoclay to the polymethacrylate (PMMA) mer leads to an increase in thermal conductivity. It was also found from the Thermomechanical Analysis
