The Nano materials play a very important role in the heat transfer enhancement. An experimental investigation has been done to understand the behaviors of nano and micro materials on critical heat flux. Pool boiling experiments have used for several concentrations of nano and micro particles on a 0.4 mm diameter nickel chrome (Ni-Cr) wire heater which is heated electrically at atmospheric pressure. Zinc oxide(ZnO) and silica(SiO2) were used as a nano and micro fluids with concentrations (0.01,0.05,0.1,0.3,0.5,1 g/L), a marked enhancement in CHF have been shown in the results for nano and micro fluids for different concentrations compared to distilled water. The deposition of the nano particles on the heater surface was the reason behind the enhancement of the wettability of the surface which will increase the CHF, this nano particles deposition will form a porous layer and the mechanism of the formation of this layers is that as vapor bubbles grow, the evaporating liquid in the micro layer leaves behind Nano particles which then will be concentrated at the base of the bubble to form this pours layer. The higher wettability can produce CHF enhancement, the enhancement ratio of Nano fluid is observed to be higher than that of micro fluid, the optimum enhancement ratios of nano fluid is (1 g/l) which observed to be 9.2 % for ZnO and 8.7% for Sio2, and also (1 g/l) for micro fluid which observed to be 8.1%for ZnO and 7.4%for SiO2.
Background: Poly (methylmethacrylate) is the most widely used material in denture fabrication. The characteristics of acrylic resin which support microorganism development can threaten the oral health of denture users. This study was assigned to prepareand incorporate Ag-Zn zeolite powder into heat cured denture base material as antimicrobial material and to investigate its effect on some properties of heat cured acrylic denture base materials. Materials and methods: Sliver –zinc zeolite was prepared by ion exchange method and characterized then incorporated into poly (methylmethacrylate) powder in0.5% by weight. Specimens were constructed and divided into 6 groups according to the using tests; each group was subdivided into 2 groups

Latent heat energy storage (LHES) is one of the suitable solutions for this problem. LHES becomes a basic element in renewable energy systems. LHES compensate for the energy lack when these systems are at low production conditions. The present work considered a shell and tube LHES for numerical investigation of the tube rotation influence on the melting process. The simulation and calculations were carried out using ANSYS Fluent software. Paraffin wax represents the phase change material (PCM) in this work, while water was selected to be the heat transfer fluid (HTF). The calculations were carried o

Moreover, novel effective computational methods have been developed and suggested in this study by suitable base functions, namely Chebyshev, Bernstein, Legendre, and Hermite polynomials. The utilization of the base functions converts the nonlinear problem to a nonlinear algebraic system of equations, which is then resolved using the Mathematica®12 program. The development of effective computational methods (D-ECM) has been applied to solve the nonlinear Jeffery-Hamel flow problem, then a comparison between the methods has been shown. Furthermore, the maximum

Material and method: Zirconium silicate nanoparticles were coated with a layer of trimethoxysilylpropylmethacrylate (TMSPM) before sonication in monomer (MMA) with the percentages 1% and 1.5% by weight then mixed with powder using conventional procedure, (150) samples were prepared and divided into three groups, each group consisted of (50) samples, the first group prepared from PMMA without addition (control), another group with the addition of 1% wt Zrsio4 nanoparticles (experimental) and the third one with 1.5% wt Zrsio4 nanoparticles (experimental). In this study, 80 roosters local Iraqi chickens were used, the roosters were trained three times a week, to collect semen, until the largest number of them responded. Then the best 40 of the roosters were elected for the purpose of collecting the semen with a pooled sample, and then the samples were diluted and divided equally into four parts.
