News Coverage in the Iraqi Electronic Press for Internal Crises: (An Analytical Study of Al-Zaman and Al-Sabah Electronic Newspapers for the period from 1/ 3/ 2013 to 31/ 3/ 2013)
...Show More Authors

The research study focused on the need to clarify the relationship between the Websites of Iraqi Newspapers and their roles in covering the internal crises in Iraq. The selection of Iraqi websites for the newspapers Al-Zaman and Al-Sabah was adopted as one of the most important media with a wide audience; and as a model of hot news and continuous coverage of those sites since 2003 so far. As a result, this necessitated the emergence of new types of methods of editing and writing news stories related to Iraq.

Consequently, the enormous and rapidly changing amount of Iraq news, the process of preparing and creating news has become a complex industry as it has gone beyond the normal description of current events.

This industry had its own means, methods and philosophy. The news, then, is no longer a description of an immediate event of interest. It is, moreover, a window of view of each opinion to use its trends with or against this party or that one; or for the benefit of this process or that one of what was happening in Iraq.

In view of the serious problems posed by this subject, this could negatively affect Iraqi society, which raised questions about the research problem developed by the researchers as follows:

What are the objective limits set by the Iraqi electronic press in covering the news?

Have political crises been a priority for Iraqi electronic newspapers; or is there a balance with other economic, social, security and other aspects?

The research consists of an introduction and three topics and a conclusion. The first section dealt with the theoretical framework. The second section tackled the news coverage of the websites of the internal crises. While the third section responded to the analysis of news coverage in Al-Zaman and Al-Sabah electronic newspapers for internal crises.

The conclusion referred to the most important findings reached by the researchers for the results and recommendations through the data of the research

Bioactivity of Gutta flow II versus Modified Gutta Percha based Silicon Endodontic Sealers by Nanobioactive Fillers
...Show More Authors

The success of endodontic therapy is relied on radicular system cleaning, shaping, elimination of micro-organisms, and three dimensional filling of the radicular complex. This study was conducted to develop and assess new root canal sealer incorporating nano-sized bioactive glass into Gutta Flow II. The following concentration was used depend on a pilot study included adding (3%) of 45S5 bioactive glass into the Gutta Flow II. These materials were tested through assessment bioactivity. bioactivity test was undertaken after immersion of the tested samples into PBS for three days, seven days, fourteen days, and twenty eight days using FTIR too. study was found that it’s peaks was appear at level 800-1000 cm-1. The results showed that GFII gr

Constructing a Sustainable Roller Compacted Concrete Using Waste Demolished Material as Replacement of Cement: A Review
...Show More Authors

Roller Compacted Concrete is a type of concrete that is environmentally friendly and more economical than traditional concrete. Roller Compacted Concrete is typically used for heavy-duty and specialist constructions, such as hydraulic structures and pavements, because of its coarse surface. The main difference between RCC and conventional concrete mixtures is that RCC has a more significant proportion of fine aggregates that allow compaction and tight packing. In recent years, it has been estimated that several million tons of waste demolished material (WDM) produced each year are directed to landfills worldwide without being recycled for disposal. This review aimed to study the literature about creating a Roller-Comp

Performance Analyses of 15 kW Grid-Tied Photo Voltaic Solar System Type under Baghdad city climate
...Show More Authors

The performance analyses of 15 kWp (kW peak) Grid -Tied solar PV system (that considered first of its type) implemented at the Training and Energy Research Center Subsidiary of Iraqi Ministry of Electricity in Baghdad city has been achieved. The system consists of 72 modules arranged in 6 strings were each string contains 12 modules connected in series to increase the voltage output while these strings connected in parallel to increase the current output. According to the observed duration, the reference daily yields, array daily yields and final daily yields of this system were (5.9, 4.56, 4.4) kWh/kWp/day respectively. The energy yield was 1585 kWh/kWp/year while the annual total solar irradiation received by solar array system was 198

Evaluation of blue textile dye decolorization by immobilized polyphenol oxidase using pumice stone under optimum conditions
...Show More Authors

Industrial dyes are major pollutants in wastewater and river water with an initial visible concentration of 1 mg/L. Recent studies have shown the possibility of using polyphenol oxidase in catalytic biological treatment due to its ability to oxidize a large number of dyes and pollutants in wastewater and the flexibility to work in wide ranges of temperature, pH and salinity. It is easy availability as well as the low economic cost resulting from its use in biological treatments, this enzyme polyphenol oxidase was used. The findings in this study showed that the extraction of polyphenol oxidase (PPO) from potato peel was homogenized with potassium phosphate buffer (0.1 M, pH 7) at a ratio of 1:10 (weight: volume) for two min. The res

GEOMETRIC NONLINEAR TIME DOMAIN SPECTRALMATCHING SEISMIC ANALYSIS OF BASE ISOLATED HIGHRISE BUILDINGS INCLUDING P-DELTA EFFECT
...Show More Authors

Time-domain spectral matching commonly used to define seismic inputs to dynamic analysis in terms of acceleration time history compatible with a specific target response spectrum is used in this study to investigate the second-order geometric effect of P-delta on the seismic response of base-isolated high-rise buildings. A synthetic time series is generated by adjusting reference time series that consist of available readings from a past earthquake of the 1940 El Centro earthquake adopted as an initial time series. The superstructure of a 20-story base isolated building is represented by a 3-D finite element model using ETABS software. The results of the base isolated building show that base isolation technique significantly reduces inter-s
