IRAQ TELEVISION AND THE PROBLEM OF EMERGENCY PROGRAMS : (An Analytical Study of Emergency Programs in Iraq TV)

The success of any media work in our contemporary life is based on proper planning. Television in Iraq is like any media outlet that adopts clear planning and programming in order to achieve the goals set in the news, entertainment, education. Iraq TV relies on four programming plans in one year (short term), but we often receive central instructions directly from the Minister of Information ordering to cancel the program plan and what was scheduled for broadcast to be finally replaced by alternative or emergency program associated with an incident, occasion or important news, these programs are all called (emergency programs).

In this present research we will be dealing with these programs as well as the extent of their impact on the progress of planning programs in Iraqi TV. We have divided this research into an introduction, three main topics and a conclusion:

First topic: TV in Iraq ... The emergence and development

Second topic: Media planning and the problem of program planning in Iraq TV

Third topic: An analytical study of emergency programs in Iraq TV for two programs from 01/07/2002 to 30/9/2002 and from 01/10/2002 to 31/12/2002.

Conclusion: We will highlight the most important findings we reached.

The morphological and pollen grains study of Tropaeolum L. (Tropaeolaceae) in Iraq

The current study included a detail morphological study of all parts of the two species of the genus Tropaeolum L. (Tropaeolumceae) cultivated in different gardens, the roots, stems, leaves, flowers and fruit were studied in detail, also the pollen grains were studied, and there are photographs for all that parts were putted. A specimens of that taxa were studied in some Iraqi herbaria. The study found that there are many characters were used in differentiation of two species under study.

An Environmental Study of Epiphytic Algae on Ceratophyllum demersum in Tigris River within Baghdad City, Iraq

The present study was conducted in the Tigris River within Baghdad (University of Baghdad campus). The study included some physicochemical parameters and qualitative of epiphytic algae on the host plant (Ceratophyllum demersum) during summer season 2013. The results revealed that the study area was alkaline, hard and oxygenated water. A total of 105 taxa of epiphytic algae was identified. Bacillariophyceae diatoms composed 44.7% of the total and were represented by 42.4% of the order Pennales and 1.9 %of the order Centrales. Chlorophyceae composed 32.3%, followed by Cyanophyceae composed 22.8 % of the total. The total number of epiphytic algae was fluctuated among the study period.
