In this paper, series of new complexes of Manganese(II), Cobalt(II), Nickel (II) Cupper(II) Zinc(II), Cadmium(II) and Mercury (II) are prepared from the new ligand [2-(3-benzoylthioureido)-3-(-4- hydroxyphenyl) propanoic acid (BHP) derived from tyrosine and benzoylisothiocyanate .Chemical structures are obtained from their 1 H, 13CNMR spectra (for BHP), elemental microanalyses, molar conductance, FTIR, UV–Vis, magnetic susceptibility in addition to TGA/DTG and DSC analysis, the suggested geometry for all complexes was tetrahedral. The biological activity of BHP and its complexes has been extensively studied against two bacterial species Staphylococcus aurous (G+) and Escherichia coli (G-) by agar-well diffusion technique, where Mn(II), Co
... Show MorePVC/Kaolinite composites were prepared by the melt intercalation method. Mechanical properties, thermal properties, flammability and water absorption percentage of prepared samples were tested. Mechanical characteristic such as tensile strength, elongation at break; hardness and impact strength (charpy type) were measured for all samples. It was found that the tensile strength and elongation at break of PVC composites decreased with increasing kaolinite loading. Also, the hardness of the composites increases with increase in filler content .The impact strength of the composites at the beginning increases at lower kaolinite loadings is due to the lack of kaolin adhesion to the matrix. However, at higher kaolin loadings. This severe agglom

Show MoreThe new complexes including Cu(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Pt(IV), and Pd(II) metals with 4,4'-(((1E,1'E)-1,4-phenylenebis(methaneylylidene))bis(azaneylylidene))bis(5-(4-chlorophenyl)-4H-1,2,4-triazole-3-thione) have been synthesized of utilizing us polystyrene (PS) photostability. The supplement (0,5 w / v%) was for the production of polystyrene ( PS) in the form of tetrahydrofuran (THF). Polystyrene films were exposing irradiation (250 – 380 nm) absorption light intensity of 6.02 x 10-9 ein dm-3 s-1 at room temperature, through the changes that occur to each of viscosity average molecular weight (Mv), main chain scission (S), degree of polymerization (DPn), weight loss %, hydroxyl index (lOH), carbonyl index (ICo) determined the photo stabiliz

Show MoreThis work presents the study of the dark current density and the capacitance for porous silicon prepared by photo-electrochemical etching for n-type silicon with laser power density of 10mw/cm2 and wavelength (650nm) under different anodization time (30,40,50,60) minute. The results obtained from this study shows different chara that different characteristic of porous diffecteristics for the different porous Silicon layers.
The (NiTsPc) thin films operating by vacuum evaporation technique are high recital and good desirable for number of applications, were dumped on glass substrates at room temperature with (200±20nm) thickness and doped with Al at different percentage (0.01,0.03) besides annealing the sample with 200˚C for 1 hours . The stimuluses of aluminum dopant percentage on characterization of the dropped (Ni Ts Pc) thin films were studied through X-ray diffraction in addition from the attained results, were all the films have polycrystalline in nature, as well the fallouts of XRD aimed at film illustrations polycrystalline, depending on the Al ratio doping, the results, SEM exposed the surface is regularly homogeneous. Utilizing first-ideolog

The X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis refers that pure CdS and CdS:Ce, CdS:La and CdS:Nd thin films showed the hexagonal crystalline phase. The crystallite size determined by the Debye-Scherrer equation and the range was (35.8– 23.76 nm), and it was confirmed by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). The pure and doped CdS shows a direct band gap (2.57 to 2.72 eV), which was obtained by transmittance. The room-temperature photoluminescence of pure and doped CdS shows large peak at 431 nm, and two small peaks at (530 and 610 nm). The Current – voltage measurement in da

Structural, morphological, and electrical properties were investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) techniques. Using the 4-probe technique to study the effect of antimony-substitution for Copper on the electrical properties of HgBa2CaCu2-xSbxO8+δ (Hg-1212) phase was investigated by measuring the resistivity as a function of temperature. Results indicate that the addition of antimony (Sb) increases the volume fraction of the phase and changes the superconducting transition temperature Tc of the superconductor to a normal state. The dielectric loss factor and ac

The cubic curves have been been constructed by using the general equation of the cubic. We found that there are complete (13,3)-arcs, complete (15,3)-arcs and we found that the only (16,3)-arcs lead to maximum completeness
