Numerical simulations have been investigated to study the external free convective heat transfer from a vertically rectangular interrupted fin arrays. The continuity, Naver-Stockes and energy equations have been solved for steady-state, incompressible, two dimensional, laminar with Boussiuesq approximation by Fluent 15 software. The performance of interrupted fins was evaluated to gain the optimum ratio of interrupted length to fin length (
Consider a simple graph on vertices and edges together with a total labeling . Then ρ is called total edge irregular labeling if there exists a one-to-one correspondence, say defined by for all where Also, the value is said to be the edge weight of . The total edge irregularity strength of the graph G is indicated by and is the least for which G admits edge irregular h-labeling. In this article, for some common graph families are examined. In addition, an open problem is solved affirmatively.
... Show MoreThe Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) has recently emerged as a human pathogen caused by SARS-CoV-2 virus was first reported from Wuhan, China, on 31 December 2019. Upon study, it has been used molecular docking to binding affinity between COVID-19 protease enzyme and flavonoids with evaluations based on docking scores calculated by AutoDock Vina. Results showed that naringin suppressed COVID-19 protease, as it has the highest binding value than other flavonoids including quercetin, hesperetin, garcina and naringenin. An important finding in this study is that naringin with neighboring poly hydroxyl groups can serve as inhibitors of COVID-19 protease bind to the S pocket of protein, it is shown that residues His163, Glu166, Asn142, His41and

This new type of concrete was prepared based on the sulfur-melamine modification and various ingredients. The new sulfur-melamine modifier was fabricated, and its fabrication was confirmed by IR spectroscopy and TG analysis. The surface morphology resulted from this modifier was studied by SEM and EDS analysis. The components ratios in concrete, chemical and physical characteristics resulted from sulfur-melamine modifier, chemical and corrosion resistance of concrete, stability of concrete against water adsorption, stability of concrete against freezing, physical and mechanical properties and durabi
... Show MoreQuercetin, a crucial plant flavonoid, exhibits a range of pharmacological properties. A significant body of literature explores the antibacterial activity of the substance and its potential mode of action. Quercetin has shown the capacity to inhibit the growth of several types of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, as well as fungi and viruses.
The work presented sought to identify siderophore genes in quercetin-resi
Structural buildings consist of concrete and steel, and these buildings have confronted many challenges from various aggressive environments against the materials manufactured from them. It contains high water levels and buildings whose concrete cover may be damaged and thus lead to the deterioration and corrosion of steel. It was important to have an alternative to steel, such as the glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP), which is distinguished by its great effectiveness in resisting corrosion, as well as its strong tensile resistance. Still, one of its drawbacks is that it has a low modulus of elasticity. This research article aims to conduct a numerical study using the nonlinear fi
Water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) is a free-floating plant, growing plentifully in the tropical water bodies. It is being speculated that the large biomass can be used in wastewater treatment, heavy steel and dye remediation, as a substrate for bioethanol and biogas production, electrical energy generation, industrial uses, human food and antioxidants, medicines, feed, agriculture, and sustainable improvement. In this work, the adsorption of Congo Red (CR) from aqueous solution onto EC biomass was investigated through a series of batch experiments. The effects of operating parameters such as pH (3-9), dosage (0.1-0.9 g. /100 ml), agitated velocity (100-300), size particle (88-353μm), temperature (10-50˚C), initial dye
