Text Encryption Based on DNA Cryptography, RNA, and Amino Acid
...Show More Authors

To achieve safe security to transfer data from the sender to receiver, cryptography is one way that is used for such purposes. However, to increase the level of data security, DNA as a new term was introduced to cryptography. The DNA can be easily used to store and transfer the data, and it becomes an effective procedure for such aims and used to implement the computation. A new cryptography system is proposed, consisting of two phases: the encryption phase and the decryption phase. The encryption phase includes six steps, starting by converting plaintext to their equivalent ASCII values and converting them to binary values. After that, the binary values are converted to DNA characters and then converted to their equivalent complementary DNA sequences. These DNA sequences are converted to RNA sequences. Finally, the RNA sequences are converted to the amino acid, where this sequence is considered as ciphertext to be sent to the receiver. The decryption phase also includes six steps, which are the same encryption steps but in reverse order. It starts with converting amino acid to RNA sequences, then converting RNA sequences to DNA sequences and converting them to their equivalent complementary DNA. After that, DNA sequences are converted to binary values and to their equivalent ASCII values. The final step is converting ASCII values to alphabet characters that are considered plaintext. For evaluation purposes, six text files with different sizes have been used as a test material. Performance evaluation is calculated based on encryption time and decryption time. The achieved results are considered as good and fast, where the encryption and decryption times needed for a file with size of 1k are equal to 2.578 ms and 2.625 ms respectively, while the encryption and decryption times for a file with size of 20k are equal to 268.422 ms and 245.469 ms respectively.

Abstract<p>Botnet is a malicious activity that tries to disrupt traffic of service in a server or network and causes great harm to the network. In modern years, Botnets became one of the threads that constantly evolving. IDS (intrusion detection system) is one type of solutions used to detect anomalies of networks and played an increasing role in the computer security and information systems. It follows different events in computer to decide to occur an intrusion or not, and it used to build a strategic decision for security purposes. Synthesis and Diagnosis of Some Derivatives of 1,2,4-Triazole-3-Dicarboxylic Acid and Study their Biological Activity
...Show More Authors

Newly prepared derivatives of Heterocyclic of dicarboxylic acid include 1, 2, 4-Triazoledicarboxylic acid. Thiocarbohydrazine (TCH) reacts with aliphatic and aromatic dicarboxylic acids, and when these resulting compounds interact with compounds containing a group of carbonyl they result in Schiff base, which are very important in the industrial and medical fields and the acids used (oxalic acid, succinic, terephthalic) to prepare the triazole, then the reaction with Para-chlorobenzendihaide. and some physical properties were measured for these products. The biological activity of the prepared compounds has been studied, and it has been shown that they have different effects on the bacteria, compounds prepared with Fourier Transform Infrare

The work involves synthesis of new Schiff bases ([V] a, b and [VI] a, b), pyrazoles [VII] a, b and pyrazolines [VIII] a, b derivatives containing isoxazoline unit starting with chalcones. 4-bromoacetophenone was reacted with 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde or 4-hydroxyacetophenone was reacted with 4-bromobenzaldehyde in basic medium to give chalcone by Claisen-Schemidt reaction. The chalcons [I] a, b was reacted with hydroxylamine hydrochloride to form isoxazolines [II] a, b. which were reacted with ethyl chloro acetate in basic medium to get ester compounds [III] a, b. The condensation new ester [III] a, b with hydrazine hydrate80% yieldedacid hydrazide [IV] a, b. The later compound refluxing with 4-substituted benzaldehyde in dry benzene to give Sc

In the present work, the phthalic acid (phthH2) and 1.10 phenonthroline (phen), and their complexes were synthesized and isolated as [M(phth)(phen)2], Mn(II), Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II) Cu(II), Zn(II), and Cd(II) ions. These complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, melting point, conductivity, percentage metal, UV–Vis, FT-IR, and magnetic moment measurements. The molar conductance indicates that all the metal complexes in DMSO are nonelectrolytic. phthalic acid (phtha), and 1,10-Phenanthroline (phen), behaved as bidentate, coordinating to the metal ion through their two oxygen and two pyridinyl nitrogen atoms respectively, as corroborated by. Acid Activation of Iraqi Bentonite Clay and Studying its Structural, Dielectric and Electrical Behavior at Various Temperatures
...Show More Authors

Iraqi calcium bentonite was activated via acidification to study its structural and electrical properties. The elemental analysis of treated bentonite was determined by using X-ray fluorescence while the unit crystal structure was studied through X-ray diffraction showing disappearance of some fundamental reflections due to the treatment processes. The surface morphology, on the other hand, was studied thoroughly by Scanning Electron microscopy SEM and Atomic Force Microscope AFM showing some fragments of montmorillonite sheets. Furthermore, the electrical properties of bentonite were studied including: The dielectric permittivity, conductivity, tangent loss factor, and impedance with range of frequency (0.1-1000 KHz) at different temperatu
