Romanticism in Virtual World
...Show More Authors

When Romanticism had passed since its appearance at the end of the eighteenth century, it seemed that this important intellectual and philosophical development had been absent but not really lost. Romanticism remained in the poems of poets, philosophers and writers even after they had escaped cultural life in general. If it is difficult to itemize all the principles of romance, the apparent is the assertion of individualism and the love of autism with nature and its potential with its mysteries as well as the glorification of emotion, compared to the mental orientation of the writers in the seventeenth century in their classical approach. The language is the most important to what the Romans have proven in their poetry and their artistic works, from Wordsworth to the great romantic philosophers, in addition to the philosophy of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, the philosophy of romance, a paradox that illustrates the dimensions of this great phenomenon in international thought. With the advent of new media, and the accelerating development of its technologies, romance is returning again, but with different visions imposed by the generation and its logic. If romance is the philosophy of personality and self-love, social media sites have touched this and come close to it. Actually, if the romantic writers sanctify nature with its trees, mountains and plains, they stand in front of small screens where nature does not appear and it is silent with no trees and sounds, and harmony. However, the features of romanticism were found in new media and according to a vision that says: "The curriculum renews itself, and the ideas can come back, but the romanticism today has more than meaning and reference, and its investigation in media research can be a reason to renew our knowledge and criticism

Smart Well Modelling for As Reservoir in AG Oil Field
...Show More Authors

Intelligent or smart completion wells vary from conventional wells. They have downhole flow control devices like Inflow Control Devices (ICD) and Interval Control Valves (ICV) to enhance reservoir management and control, optimizing hydrocarbon output and recovery. However, to explain their adoption and increase their economic return, a high level of justification is necessary. Smart horizontal wells also necessitate optimizing the number of valves, nozzles, and compartment length. A three-dimensional geological model of the As reservoir in AG oil field was used to see the influence of these factors on cumulative oil production and NPV. After creating the dynamic model for the As reservoir using the program Petrel (2017.4), we

Seismic Analysis of Floating Stone Columns in Soft Clayey Soil
...Show More Authors

The response of floating stone columns of different lengths to diameter ratio (L/D = 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10) ratios exposed to earthquake excitations is well modeled in this paper. Such stone column behavior is essential in the case of lateral displacement under an earthquake through the soft clay soil. ABAQUS software was used to simulate the behavior of stone columns in soft clayey soil using an axisymmetric finite element model. The behavior of stone column material has been modeled with a Drucker-Prager model. The soft soil material was modeled by the Mohr-Coulomb failure criterion assuming an elastic-perfectly plastic behavior. The floating stone columns were subjected to the El Centro earthquake, which had a magnitude of 7.1 an

Exploring the application of AlN graphyne in calcium ion batteries
...Show More Authors

Destiny functional theory (DFT) calculations are undertaken in order to scrutinize the electrochemical and calcium (Ca) storage characteristics of a graphyne-like aluminum nitride monolayer (G-AlNyen) as an electrode material for Ca-ion batteries (CIBs). The results show that the change in internal energy as well as the cell voltage values for the CIB with the G-AlNyen anode are comparable to others with two-dimensional 2D nano-materials. It is shown that Ca is adsorbed primarily onto the center of a hexagonal and triangular ring of G-AlNyen with absorption energies of −2.06 and −0.42 eV. After increasing the concentration of Ca atoms on G-AlNyen, the adsorption energy as well as the cell voltage decreases. Lower values of 0.15–0.32 e

Occurrence and Effect of Algal Neurotoxins in Nebraska Freshwater Ecosystems
...Show More Authors

Algae are photosynthetic microorganisms that play important role in aquatic ecosystems as they are the primary producers in aquatic food webs. Several groups of algae are capable of producing toxins that impact aquatic ecosystems, especially managed systems. Cyanobacteria are the most important algae in freshwaters, and many species produce cyanotoxins including hepatotoxins and neurotoxins. The potent cyano-neurotoxins β-N-methylamino-L-alanine (BMAA), 2, 4-diaminobutyric acid dihydrochloride (DABA), and anatoxin-a are especially critical with regards to public and animal health problems.

One of the most important environmental issues is the responsible effective and economic treatment of drilling waste especially oily waste.
In this research two fungal isolates named Pleurotus ostreatus and Trichoderma harzianum were chosen for the first time to treat biologically the oily drilled cuttings contaminated with diesel which resulted from drilling oil wells use oil based muds (OBMs).
The results showed that the fungi under study utilized the hydrocarbon of contaminated soil as a source of nutrient and growth and that both fungi can be considered hydrocarbon degrading microorganisms. The used biotreatment is cost effective process since most of the materials used in the cultivation and growth of the present fungi were av

During recent decades, hundreds of thousands of Iraqis lost their lives as a result of wars, economic blockade, or acts of violence and terrorism. The loss of a family member, especially husband makes women suddenly bears full responsibility for the family. Lost could impose new changes in psychological, social, and economical roles. These changes usually combine with the negative effects aftermath the lost trauma. Some of the reports in Iraq showed there were increased and huge numbers of widows and orphans. This study aimed to identify the aspects of Posttraumatic Growth (PTG) in Iraq women who lost their close relatives (especially husbands). 52 of Iraqi women who lost their husband and 49 women who experienced other traumatic events
