A substantial portion of today’s multimedia data exists in the form of unstructured text. However, the unstructured nature of text poses a significant task in meeting users’ information requirements. Text classification (TC) has been extensively employed in text mining to facilitate multimedia data processing. However, accurately categorizing texts becomes challenging due to the increasing presence of non-informative features within the corpus. Several reviews on TC, encompassing various feature selection (FS) approaches to eliminate non-informative features, have been previously published. However, these reviews do not adequately cover the recently explored approaches to TC problem-solving utilizing FS, such as optimization techniques. This study comprehensively analyzes different FS approaches based on optimization algorithms for TC. We begin by introducing the primary phases involved in implementing TC. Subsequently, we explore a wide range of FS approaches for categorizing text documents and attempt to organize the existing works into four fundamental approaches: filter, wrapper, hybrid, and embedded. Furthermore, we review four optimization algorithms utilized in solving text FS problems: swarm intelligence-based, evolutionary-based, physics-based, and human behavior-related algorithms. We discuss the advantages and disadvantages of state-of-the-art studies that employ optimization algorithms for text FS methods. Additionally, we consider several aspects of each proposed method and thoroughly discuss the challenges associated with datasets, FS approaches, optimization algorithms, machine learning classifiers, and evaluation criteria employed to assess new and existing techniques. Finally, by identifying research gaps and proposing future directions, our review provides valuable guidance to researchers in developing and situating further studies within the current body of literature.
This systematic review aimed to analyse available evidence to answer two focused questions about the efficacy of erythritol powder air‐polishing (EPAP) (i) as an adjunctive during active periodontal therapy (APT) and (ii) as an alternative to hand/ultrasonic instrumentation during supportive periodontal therapy (SPT). Additionally, microbiological outcomes and patient's comfort/perceptions were assessed as secondary outcomes.

Abstract
Heritage represents the center around which poets revolve around and take advantage of its inexhaustible specific, and the connotations that this heritage holds of various values, values and ideas, and the poet Bashar bin Bard from prominent poets who were inspired by that heritage and the culture of the first Abbasid era and whoever and others was worthy of studying and tracking his potentials and capabilities Creativity is based on the inspiration of the legacy of his predecessors, and the development of this legacy and renewal in it. The research methodology required its division into two topics, the first topic, a description of the beauty of women, a description of wine, while the second topic is a description

New rolls has arisen for actors that didn't take part in the political life before so clearly ,like the military establishment which started to practice more prominent political roll, till it became the most important actor in the political life of Egypt .This establishment tried to institutionalize its roll through constitutional means ,considering that controlling the authority is the only alternative to safeguard the state which we are trying to study

<p>Analyzing X-rays and computed tomography-scan (CT scan) images using a convolutional neural network (CNN) method is a very interesting subject, especially after coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. In this paper, a study is made on 423 patients’ CT scan images from Al-Kadhimiya (Madenat Al Emammain Al Kadhmain) hospital in Baghdad, Iraq, to diagnose if they have COVID or not using CNN. The total data being tested has 15000 CT-scan images chosen in a specific way to give a correct diagnosis. The activation function used in this research is the wavelet function, which differs from CNN activation functions. The convolutional wavelet neural network (CWNN) model proposed in this paper is compared with regular convol

Show MoreThis study presents the design, modeling, and experimental evaluation of a three-level electro-hydraulic elevator system controlled by a Delta DVP-20SX2 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) equipped with an integrated Proportional–Integral–Derivative (PID) module. The PLC, programmed in Ladder Logic using ISPSoft 2.46, regulates cabin motion across all three levels. A detailed MATLAB/Simulink model was developed, incorporating three PID controllers: one for displacement regulation via a proportional directional control valve and two for dynamic pressure regulation using a proportional pressure relief valve. Conventional PID parameters were initially tuned using the trial-and-error method based on time-domain performance indices a

The diagnosis of periodontal diseases mainly relies upon assessment of conventional clinical parameters. However, these parameters reflect past, rather than current, clinical status or future disease progression and, likely, outcome of periodontal treatment. Specific and sensitive biomarkers for periodontal diseases have been examined widely to address these issues and some biomarkers have been translated as point-of-care (PoC) tests. The aim of this review was to provide an update on PoC tests for use in the diagnosis and management of periodontal diseases. Among the PoC tests developed so

Show MoreThe ideas and information obtained by the viewer in the cinema have always been the source of the visual image, but that doesn’t negate the fact that the mental image can produce a lot of the information and ideas in the cinematic art and the most important means to achieve this mental image in the film is the eloquent cinematic sound. This research is conducted to show this important and effective contribution of the sound in the production of the mental image. Hence the importance of this research is in that it addresses an important issue which is the eloquent performance of the sound and its role in the production of the mental image inside the space of the feature film. This research concerns those working the field of cinema and

The research included three sections within the theoretical framework:The first section: the concept of image and its rhetorical importance. This section discussed
