Background: COVID-19 is a disease that started in Wuhan/China in late 2019 and continued through 2020 worldwide. In this paper, we demonstrate the effect of using Al on the electromagnetic (EM) field distribution of a compact hybrid plasmonic waveguide (HPW) acting as a polarization rotator.
