BACKGROUND: In pregnancy, several physiological changes occur that lead to decrease in the level of hemoglobin. Anemia during pregnancy is a major public health concern in underdeveloped nations, with a high rate of morbidity and death among pregnant women. Inadequate prenatal care, a lack of information about the nutritional requirements of pregnant women, and general low socioeconomic circumstances all contribute to these high rates of morbidity and death. As pregnant women’s and husbands’ education levels increased, the frequency and severity of anemia decreased in the investigated community of pregnant women. AIM: This study aims to find out the level of knowledge about anemia in pregnancy among adult females attending primary health care centers (PHCCs) and to find out if there is any association between sociodemographic characteristics of adult females and knowledge about anemia in pregnancy. METHODS: A cross-sectional study with analytic component conducted in four PHCCs in Al-Adhamiya Health District during a period of 4 months from December 1, 2020, to April 1, 2021. It included 400 females aged between 18 and 45 years attending the selected PHCCs for any complaint. The data had been collected through the distribution of well-designed questionnaire including two parts: Participants’ sociodemographic characteristics and knowledge parts. RESULTS: In this study, overall knowledge score of the participants about anemia in pregnancy showed that 60% had fair knowledge. There were statistically significant associations between knowledge score and age of females, marital status, educational level, occupation, and parity. CONCLUSION: The majority of Iraqi adult females have fair and acceptable levels of knowledge about anemia in pregnancy. Younger age, being single, low educational level, unemployed, and low parity were associated with worst level of knowledge.
Abstract:
The research aims to achieve the basis of tax justice by making a comparison between the tax accounting process according to the application of the International Financial Reporting Standard IFRS15 and the tax accounting procedures currently used in the General Authority for Taxes to determine the annual and total tax differences, to give credibility and enhance transparency in the reports and financial statements of companies Long-term contracts when prepared in accordance with the requirements of applying the international standard IFRS15 “Revenue from Contracts with Customers”, which increases the possibility of relying on them when calculating taxes. Thus, the resea

The aim of the present study is to provide the adequate knowledge about the role of time management in facilitate the work requirements for employees of the administrative department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The research depend on studying four important dimensions which are (time planning, time organization, time direction and time observation). In addition to study other five dimensions which are (new procedures, clear procedures, short procedures, the available information and the simplicity of the methods
used).Questionnaire sheets consist of (38 questions) distributed to (170) employees and (146) sheets only were considered in the study. SPSS program was used

The physical development in this sport can be attributed to athletic training and modern technology, which have contributed significantly to advancing the sports field in general. Outstanding performance in football requires precise and quick physical abilities, closely tied to the competitive nature of the game. Speed is fundamental in football, making the use of technologies such as GPS tracking devices and heart rate monitors essential in both training and matches. This study aims to develop the speed of Al-Talaba SC players in Baghdad using a scientifically-based approach to improve their performance. The impo

It was found that the fluorescence intensity decreases in the polymer samples doped dyes as the exposure time increases and then reaches stabilization at long times, this behavior called photobleaching, which have been shown in liquid phase less than solid phase. Using 2nd harmonic with wavelength 530 nm laser, the photobleaching effect in the two dye-doped polymers different solvent but same was studied. It was observed that photobleaching of by different solution and by using dip spin coating the photobleaching seem in liquid phase more

Vertical walls were maintained isothermal at different temperatures while horizontal walls and the partitions were insulated. The length of partition was taken constant. The number of partitions were placed on horizontal surface in staggered arrangement from (1– 3) and ratio of partition thickness (H/L= 0.033, 0.083, 0.124). The problem is formulated in terms of the vorticity-stream function procedure. A numerical solution based on a program in Fortran 90 with the finite difference method is obtained. After surveying the literature on the meaning of verbs in both languages, three chapters address the major issues in this subject. The problem to be investigated in this study can be summarized in the following points: 1. The overlapping of semantic and syntactic features within the category of verbs of eating in English and Arabic. 2. Which semantic classification is more accurate and through which method? 3. Which classification, the semantic or the syntactic, is more important? This study hypothesized the following: 1. The semantic features are more influential in analyzing the category of verbs of eating than the syntactic
