The cheif aim of the present investigation is to develop Leslie Gower type three species food chain model with prey refuge. The intra-specific competition among the predators is considered in the proposed model. Besides the logistic growth rate for the prey species, Sokol Howell functional response for predation is chosen for our model formulation. The behaviour of the model system thoroughly analyses near the biologically significant equilibria. The linear stability analysis of the equilibria is carried out in order to examine the response of the system. The present model system experiences Hopf bifurcation depending on the choice of suitable model parameters. Extensive numerical simulation reveals the validity of the proposed model.

In order to obtain a mixed model with high significance and accurate alertness, it is necessary to search for the method that performs the task of selecting the most important variables to be included in the model, especially when the data under study suffers from the problem of multicollinearity as well as the problem of high dimensions. The research aims to compare some methods of choosing the explanatory variables and the estimation of the parameters of the regression model, which are Bayesian Ridge Regression (unbiased) and the adaptive Lasso regression model, using simulation. MSE was used to compare the methods.

In this study, a one-dimensional model represented by Butler-Volmer-Monod (BVM) model was proposed to compute the anode overpotential and current density in a mediator-less MFC system. The system was fueled with various organic loadings of real field petroleum refinery oily sludge to optimize the favorable organic loading for biomass to operate the suggested system. The increase in each organic loading showed higher resistance to electrons transport to the anode represented by ohmic loss. On the contrary, both activation and mass transfer losses exhibited a noticeable decrement upon the increased organic loadings. and communication with the data of the surrounding environment through the diversity of knowledge sources that suit his inclinations and needs. The research aimed to prepare an educational bag to teach some offensive skills in the epee weapon. And to find out the effect of using the proposed educational bag on the level of learning some offensive skills in the epee weapon. We hypothesized that the proposed educational package has a positive impact on the level of learning some offensive skills with the epee weapon. There were statistically significant differences in testing the level of learning some offensive skills with the epee weapon between the post-tests of the experimental and control groups

and in favor of the experimental group. The researchers used the experimental method to suit the nature of solving the research problem

and the research sample was chosen intentionally from the girls’ fencing club players (beginners) in the governorate. Basra for the year 2005. The number of players was (16)

which represented the entire study population. The experiment was conducted in the sports hall of the South Oil Sports Club in Basra. We concluded that the educational package has a positive impact on the level of learning some offensive skills in the epee weapon. There were statistically significant differences in the learning level test for some offensive skills in the epee weapon between the experimental group and the control group in the post-tests and in favor of the experimental group. We recommended the necessity of using the proposed educational curriculum to learn some offensive skills in the epee weapon in fencing lessons or in sports clubs. Adopting modern techniques in training
