This paper aims to add to the growing body of cognitive translation studies that deal with the translation of emotions and the factors of evaluating the translation process-oriented. Cognitive appraisal is one of the tokens that includes three paradigms of assessing the performance of translation, it can be addressed from the perspective of emotions, intuitions, and individual styles of the SL and the method of transfer into TL. The study hypothesized that translators create a similar emotional charge due to their mental capability to build the same emotional effect in the TL audience. The study also proposed that the applicability of cognitive appraisal is a valuable method of evaluating the translation process, as pertinent to TPR. The

It's achieved by balancing the different aspects of the child, including physical, psychological, mental, and spiritual aspects.A sick child needs therapeutic environments that provide medical care in a way that accelerates the recovery process. The therapeutic environment for the child prefers to be positive and conscious with its incentives that enhance the child's ability to receive treatment, reduce their fear and anxiety and distract them from the disease, which provokes positive feelings and helps them to recover quickly. Here comes the great role that pediatric hospitals play
... Show MoreThis study proposes a new version of the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) model using Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) denoted by ARIMA-NN. The new model incorporates a multi-layer perceptron with matrix multiplication within a feed-forward network. The logistic, hyperbolic tangent (tanh), and sigmoid activation functions are used for weight updates in ARIMA-NN. A new forecasting algorithm is proposed, and one-step and multiple-steps forecasting procedures are rigorously analyzed. The proposed model was evaluated against existing forecasting model using performance metrics such as the Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) and Bayesian Information Criterion (

Show MoreThe research falls in to three sections: the first section has two parts; the first one includes a general description of the research: its problem, aim, limitations, methodology, and the terminological definition. The second part presents historical background of the weekly school speeches in Iraq and their types. Section Two has two parts: the first is about the principles of writing weekly speeches, their elements, and principals, their conditions. As for the second part, it is about introducing four samples of weekly school speeches distributed as two taken from Al-karkh sector and two taken from Al-rusafa'a sector. The third section: analyzing the content of the sample and giving a short historical background abo

Show MoreWireless control networks (WCNs), based on distributed control systems of wireless sensor and actuator networks, integrate four technologies: control, computer network and wireless communications. Electrostatic precipitator (ESP) in cement plants reduces the emissions from rotary kiln by 99.8% approximately. It is an important thing to change the existing systems (wireline) to wireless because of dusty and hazardous environments. In this paper, we designed a wireless control system for ESP using Truetime 2 beta 6 simulator, depending on the mathematical model that have been built using identification toolbox of Matlab v7.1.1. We also study the effect ofusing wireless network on performance and stability of the closed l
... Show MoreDiode laser technology is well established for biomedicine applications which demand high-power pulse-wave. They are extensively utilized from medical imaging and testing to surgical therapies and the latest aesthetic processes. For medical therapeutic practices, diode lasers have become the ideal laser source for this particular purpose. In the last previous years, semiconductor laser technology has evolved to produce high-repetitions rate near-infrared pulsed lasers diodes that are dependable, low-cost, portable, and small-weight, about few grams. In this paper, we review the recent development and demonstration of diode laser devices for biomedical applications recorded in the latest years taking into account the power, wavelength, and p

Show MoreThe current research discusses "The Relationship critical factors for knowledge transfer in strategic success opportunities", the attention have been increased on knowledge transfer and strategic success subjects because on being one of the important and contemporary issues, which have a significant impact on the existence of organizations and its future. The research aims to identify the critical factors for knowledge transfer in private high education environment which enables (the college community surveyed) to achieve strategic success, also the research sought to answer questions related to research problem by testing a number of major and minor hypothes in correlation, in order to test the hypotheses I us

Show MoreThe use of nanofluids in combination with magnetic fields has a wide range of applications in many fields, including cooling systems, microelectromechanical systems, medical systems, solar collectors, heat exchangers, and lubrication technologies. The magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) free convection in an inclined porous cylinder field with nanofluid was simulated numerically in this study. The heat was generated uniformly through the cylinder, and the horizontal walls were thermally insulated while the lateral wall remained at constant cold temperature. Vorticity transport and energy equations were used as the governing equations. A MATLAB code was developed to solve these equations after transforming them into algebraic equations using t
