Background: This research identified Streptococci spp. depending on culture, biochemistry, the VITEK technique, ability to produce biofilms, and antibiotic resistance. Aim: The goal of this study was to perform microbiological procedures to evaluate the qualitative qualities of mozzarella cheese against infective Streptococci using microbiological care. Methods: Sixty (60) mozzarella cheese samples were brought from diverse markets in Baghdad from October 2023 to December 2023 at the Zoonoses Research Unit and Veterinary Public Health Department, Veterinary Medicine College, University of Baghdad. Culture of samples on agar (MacConkey and blood) and aerobically incubated at 37°C for 48 hours. Gram staining purified colonies to notice Gram-positive cocci arranged in strings that were supposed to be Streptococcus species, and then sub cultured on nutrient agar for identification using the VITEK technique. The isolates were tested for their capacity to lyse human red blood cells by streaking blood agar and incubating at 37°C for 24 hours. Streptococcal isolates were streaked on a Congo-red medium. All isolates were inspected for antibiotic susceptibility using 15 common antibiotics via the disc diffusion method. Results: Isolates mozzarella cheese samples 8 (13.3%), these (eight) isolates include: (Streptococcus thoraltensis, Streptococcus sanguinis, Streptococcus cremoris, and Streptococcus alactolyticus. The susceptibility of S. thoraltensis, S. sanguinis, and S. alactolyticus was (26.6%), and S. cremoris (20%) to all antibiotics. Resistance of S. thoraltensis was (53%), S. sanguinis, S. alactolyticus were (66%), and S. cremoris was (73%) to all antibiotics. S. thoraltensis, S. cremoris, and S. alactolyticus were susceptible (75%) to Amikacin. S.sanguinis and S. cremoris were susceptible (50%) to Tigecycline. Streptococcus thoraltensis and S. alactolyticus were susceptible (50%) to Doxycycline. Streptococcus sanguinis and S. alactolyticus were susceptible (50%) to Ciprofloxacin. Streptococcus thoraltensis and S. sanguinis were susceptible (50%) to Azithromycin. Streptococcus sanguinis was susceptible (25%) to vancomycin. Streptococcus alactolyticus was susceptible (25%) to Streptomycin. Streptococcus thoraltensis was susceptible (25%) to Amoxicillin and Clavulanic acid. S. cremoris was susceptible (25%) to Penicillin. All isolates were 100% resistant to imipenem, lincomycin, meropenem, methicillin, and chloramphenicol. Conclusion: Analysis of mozzarella cheese samples identified four predominant Streptococcus species and their antibiotic activity.

This paper deals with the Magnetohydrodynyamic (Mill)) flow for a viscoclastic fluid of the generalized Oldroyd-B model. The fractional calculus approach is used to establish the constitutive relationship of the non-Newtonian fluid model. Exact analytic solutions for the velocity and shear stress fields in terms of the Fox H-function are obtained by using discrete Laplace transform. The effect of different parameter that controlled the motion and shear stress equations are studied through plotting using the MATHEMATICA-8 software.

The adult worms of the Microphallidae family are mainly found as intestinal parasites of birds and mammals, while metacercariae is most commonly found in decapodal crustaceans. The Microphallidaeare family is spread throughout the world. It includes approximately 47 genera. Mature worms usually enter the digestive system of vertebrates, especially birds and mammals. Microphallidae contain eight subfamilies: Androcotylinae - Basantisiinae - Endocotylinae - Gynaecotylinae - Levinseniellinae - MaritrematinaeMicrophallinae - Sphairiotrematinae. Therefore, due to the lack of studies on the Microphallidae family in Iraq, we began to develop a database on this important family.

ABSTRACT: Protein isolate was achieved from local peeled non soaked pumpkins seeds by using petroleum ether with protein percentage of 53.15%. Protein isolate was used in manufacturing meat burger with two substitution10 and 20%. The shrinkage percentage for burger diameter was decreased from 25.5 to 16.6%, the sample with 10% substitution was distinguished in water holding capacity (WHC) which was 54.52%. Sensitive evaluation for these samples showed that the burger with 10% substitution was similar to the control.
ABSTRACT Fifty extremely halophilic bacteria were isolated from local high salient soils named Al-Massab Al-Aam in south of iraq and were identified by using numerical taxonomy. Fourty strains were belong to the genus Halobacterium which included Hb. halobium (10%). Hb. salinarium (12.5%), Hb.cutirubrum (17.5%), Hb-saccharovorum (12.5%), Hb. valismortis (10%) and Hb. volcanii (37.5%). Growth curves were determined. Generation time (hr) in complex media and logarithmic phase were measured and found to be 10.37±0.59 for Hb. salinarium. 6.49 ± 0.24 for Hb.cutirubrum. 6.70±0.48 for Hb-valismonis, and 11.24 ± 0.96 for Hb. volcanii

Abstract A total of 207 specimens were collected from different sources including patients, health care staff and hospital environment in Ibb city, Yemen. The study used the bacteriocin produced from active producer strains in typing of Staphylococcus aureus. Depending on the morphological, cultural and biochemical characteristics, 54 (26.09%) isolates of Staphylococcus aureus were identified. An antibiotic sensitivity test was done for the bacterial isolates, and the results showed that there were multiple resistant antibiotics.
