Abstract There are many uncertainty sources that may affect the statistical reasoning. However, traditional methods can not deal with all kinds of uncertainty sources, which has led many researchers to develop traditional methods. Studies still exist to this day, making hypotheses to create a common understanding for the purpose of reaching new solutions through the use of new methods that combine traditional and modern theories of sources of uncertainty The aim of current study was to develop the adaptive fuzzy linear regression model in the case of using inaccurate data as the source of uncertainty. Specifically, the model proposed by [1]. However, instead of what dominant in fuzzy linear regression analysis, we used a new born method that uses the positions and entropy to fuzzification instead membership function. As for the comparison method we used the mean absolute difference as performance's accuracy measures. The results of this study showed the efficiency of the use of the position and the entropy function to describe the fuzzy numbers over the use of the membership functions. The results also indicated that the develop model has the best results compared to the model adapted using the membershop functions in [1].

... Show MoreThis paper presents a fuzzy logic controller for a two-tank level control system, which is a process with a dead time. The fuzzy controller is a proportional-integral (PI-like) fuzzy controller which is suitable for steady state behavior of the system. Transient behavior of the system was improved without the need for a derivative action by suitable change in the rule base of the controller. Simulation results showed the step response of the two-tank level control system when this controller was used to control this plant and the effect of the dead time on the response of the system.
Our goal in the present paper is to recall the concept of general fuzzy normed space and its basic properties in order to define the adjoint operator of a general fuzzy bounded operator from a general fuzzy normed space V into another general fuzzy normed space U. Linear attenuation coefficient of polymer composite for beta particles and bremsstrahlung ray were investigated as a function of the absorber thickness and energy. The attenuation coefficient were obtained using NaI(Tl) energy selective scintillation counter with 90Sr/90Y beta source having an energy range from 0.1-1.1 MeV. The present results show the capability of this composite to absorber beta particles and bremsstrahlung ray that yield from it. That’s mean it is useful to choice this composite for radiation shielding of beta ray with low thickness.
