This study synthesized polyacetal from the reaction of polyvinyl alcohol with para-nitrobenzaldehyde. Polyacetal/polyvinylpyrrolidone polymer blends were prepared using solution casting. Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) and silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were biosynthesized using onion peel extract as the reducing agent. Nanocomposites were fabricated by blending polyacetal/PVP with AuNPs and AgNPs at different ratios. XRD and FESEM characterized the AuNPs and AgNPs. FTIR, FESEM, TGA, and DSC characterized the polyacetal, polymer blends, and nanocomposites. DSC and TGA confirmed the improved thermal stability of the polymer blends and nanocomposites. The first molecular research on Iraqi centipede fauna is presented in this article. Between October 2022 and May 2023, during various climatic circumstances, centipedes were collected from several locations in four provinces of Iraq. Three families, represented by four genera, underwent molecular identification, and five species were found. From the order Scolopendromorpha family Scolopendridae, two species were recorded, Scolopendra morsitans Linnaeus, 1758, and S. cingulata Latreille, 1829, Cormocephalus sp.; while from the order Lithobiomorpha, family Lithobiidae, one species was recorded for first time in Iraq; Lithobius crassipes L. The optical detectors which had been used in medical applications, and especially in radioactive treatments, need to be modified studied for the effects of radiations on them. This study included preparation of the MnS thin films in a way that vacuum thermal evaporation process at room temperature 27°C with thickness (400+-10nm) nm and a sedimentation rate of 0.39nm/sec on glass floors. The thin films prepared as a detector and had to be treated with neutron irradiation to examine the results gained from this process. The results decay X-ray (XRD) showed that all the prepared thin films have a multi-crystalline structure with the dominance of the direction (111), the two samples were irradiated with a neutron irradiation source (241Am-9Be)

The aim of this study is to propose mathematical expressions for estimation of the flexural strength of plain concrete members from ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV) measurements. More than two hundred
pieces of precast concrete kerb units were subjected to a scheduled test program. The tests were divided into two categories; non-destructive ultrasonic and bending or rupture tests. For each precast unit, direct and indirect (surface) ultrasonic pulses were subjected to the concrete media to measure their travel velocities. Fifty three hydatid cysts were collected from different hosts, sheep, goats and cattle , from many slaughterhouse in Salahadin and Baghdad , while human's hydatid cysts samples were collected from Tikrit educational hospital and Tofiqe civilian hospital patients . The study included a biochemical comparison of some hydatid cyst fluid criteria such as, glucose, total protein, pH, glutamate pyrovate transaminase enzyme (GPT) , glutamate oxaloacetate transaminase enzyme (GOT) , acid phosphatase (ACP) , Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) , and also studied protoscolices viability,the current study showed the differences in chemical composition of hydatid cyst fluids back to host type and parasite strain .
