Los textos periodísticos tienen sus rasgos textuales específicos, por lo tanto el traductor o el intérprete como usuario de este tipo de textos debe tener en cuenta estos rasgos textuales y tener las competencias textuales necesarias para que estos textos adapten a un nuevo contexto lingüístico y cultural. En ocasiones el traductor de estos textos periodísticos debe desempañar la tarea del periodista, los textos periodísticos presentan algunas dificultades al traducirlos porque abarcan elementos paralingüísticos, además de ser textos de marcos históricos, sociales, culturales, deportivas, etc. .El objetivo del presente trabajo es aclarar la traducción en el ámbito periodístico además de mostrar los principales problemas en la traducción de los textos periodísticos. Intentamos llegar a algunas conclusiones sobre las siguientes preguntas: ¿ Qué requiere la traducción del textos periodístico y ¿ Cuáles son las técnicas más adecuadas que ayudan a los traductores al traducir este tipo de textos?.

The purpose of this study is to elucidate the microfacies and the biozones present in the studied rocks as well as to determine their environments or deposition. The study depends mainly on the benthonic foraminiferal assemblages identified from (27) rock thin sections made available from an outcrop at Wadi Banat Al-Hassan area in the Upper Euphrates Valley. X-Ray diffraction was also used to determine the type of carbonate minerals present in the studied rocks.

This research is an attempt to explore a social and pragmatic phenomenon of lamentation in elegies of Gray and AL-Khansaa' who represent two different cultures. It illustrates the intended meaning of lamentation in English and Arabic and finds how the two languages express this purpose of poetry by analysing it socio-pragmatically adopting Searle's models (1969),and its modifications. Lamentation is considered as a mournful poem lamenting the death of whole humanity as Gray's elegy and of an individual as AL-Khansaa's elegy.
