The present study was conducted to investigate the effects of toxoplasmosis on liver, kidney and some blood ions such as calcium, potassium & sodium. A total of 100 blood samples were obtained from pregnant women in several health centers in Baghdad city. which consist of 70 seropositive & 30 seronegative/control group, aged between 20 & 47 years old from September 2013 till September 2014. Twenty four bacterial isolates were identified from (10) places for wandering sellers in south Baghdad city (Bayaa garage). They were Staphylococcus aureus (9 isolates), Bacillus subtilis (6 isolates), Salmonella spp. (4 isolates) and Psudomonas aeruginosa (5 isolates). Agar well diffusion method was used to definition sensitivity of the fresh and dried juice of Capsicum grossum L. and Allium cepal L. at different concentrations. The fresh juice had no inhibitory activity against the bacterial isolates in contrast to the fresh juice , dried juice which show marked activity against all bacterial isolates at (30) mg/ml.

New polydentate ligand namely bis(N-carboxylatoethyl)-0,0`-dipyridinium) L was synthesised from the reaction of 0,0`-dipyridine with ethyl chloropropionate. Polymeric complexes of general formulae [Cr2(L)(N3)0]Cl2.H2O, Na2[Ag2(L)(N3)0].H2O and [M2(L)(N3)0].nH2O, where (M= Mn(II), Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II); (where n = 2;1;1;1;4;1 and 1, respectively)) are reported. The mode of bonding and overall geometry of the complexes were determined through physico-chemical and spectroscopic methods. These studies revealed octahedral geometry complexes. Molecular structure for the complexes has been optimised by CS Chem 3D Ultra Molecular Modelling and Analysis Program and supported a six coordinate geometry.
