The role of digital transformation and HR flexibility in shaping strategic human resource management outcomes
...Show More Authors

This research aims to build a model to analyze the role of digital transformation (DT) and HR Flexibility in the strategic human resource management outcomes (SHRM outcomes) in the Iraqi Banking Sector. To be more precise, it explores whether HR Flexibility is a mediating factor between digital transformation and bank performance, employee dedication, and talent preservation. The research adopted a quantitative cross-sectional study design. A structured questionnaire will be used to collect data from at least 420 respondents. The method of analysis will be through surveys collected from 420 employees in the private and government banks in Iraq. IBM SPSS will be used to conduct preliminary analysis, and IBM SPSS AMOS will be used for Confirmatory Factor Analysis to test the proposed model through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The contribution of this research adds empirical data to an under-researched situation in the HR Flexibility and digital HRM literature in Iraq. It also creates and provides a test of a conceptual SEM model to connect DT, HRF, and SHRM outcomes. Preliminary results indicate a significant positive impact of digital transformation on the adoption of HR flexibility. It is also expected that this HR flexibility will play a crucial mediating role in transforming big data into strategic insights, which will positively impact the efficiency and outcomes of strategic human resource management (SHRM). Applied Significance: The study contributes to bridging the research gap regarding the application of digital transformation on the outcomes of strategic human resource management (SHRM). In addition, HR flexibility will have a mediating role between digital transformation and the SHRM outcomes, which means that digital transformation brings strategic value to the banks when their HR data are turned into evidence-based decisions.

Narrative, Style, and Meaning: Exploring the Divide between Human and AI Literature
...Show More Authors

This theoretical research explores the fundamental differences between human literary writing and artificial intelligence–generated texts by examining how language, style, and narrative structure function in each form of authorship. Using Toni Morrison’s Beloved (1987) as the primary literary example, the study analyzes how human writing draws on lived experience, cultural memory, emotional depth, and intentional creativity. In contrast, AI-generated texts rely on statistical patterns rather than consciousness or authentic meaning-making, resulting in writing that may be linguistically coherent but lacks symbolic richness and emotional resonance. Through a descriptive and analytical methodology, supported by insights from Narr

This research aims to the possibility of evaluating the strategic performance of the State Board for Antiquities and Heritage (SBAH) using a balanced scorecard of four criteria (Financial, Customers, Internal Processes, and Learning and Growth). The main challenge was that the State Board use traditional evaluation in measuring employee performance, activities, and projects. Case study and field interviews methodology has been adopted in this research with a sample consisting of the Chairman of the State Board, 6 General Managers, and 7 Department Managers who are involved in evaluating the strategic performance and deciding the suitable answers on the checklists to analyze it ac

Optimization of Digital Histopathology Image Quality
...Show More Authors

One of the biomedical image problems is the appearance of the bubbles in the slide that could occur when air passes through the slide during the preparation process. These bubbles may complicate the process of analysing the histopathological images. The objective of this study is to remove the bubble noise from the histopathology images, and then predict the tissues that underlie it using the fuzzy controller in cases of remote pathological diagnosis. Fuzzy logic uses the linguistic definition to recognize the relationship between the input and the activity, rather than using difficult numerical equation. Mainly there are five parts, starting with accepting the image, passing through removing the bubbles, and ending with predict the tissues

Doppler assessment may lead to intervention that reduces the risk of fetal brain damage. Aim of thestudy: to assess the relation between ultrasonic hemodynamic Doppler indices of middle cerebral and umbilical arteries (PI, RI), growth indices to immediate neonatal outcomes (weight, head & abdominal circumference, APGAR scores at 1 and 5 minutes and neonatal unit admission) in women with mild, moderate and severe anemia during pregnancy. Present study is a clinical prospective study carried out in Al-Elwiya Maternity Teaching Hospital during (January-Jun) 2019, all anemic pregnant women presented to Obstetrical wards in hospitals for emergency cesarean section were the study population. Clinical index is needed to predict the outcome of pregnancy after in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm injection-embryo transfer (IVF/ICSI-ET) for infertile patients. Growth differentiation factor-8 (GDF-8), also known as myostatin, is one of transforming growth factor-â superfamily localized in antral follicles in normal and PCOS ovaries but its function in female reproductive system is still unknown. Aim of the study is to assess the correlation between levels of GDF8 in follicular fluid (FF) with outcomes of in vitro fertilization (IVF/ICSI) in women with and without PCOS. A prospective case control study was performed enrolling (40) patients with PCOS and (40) non-PCOS women (male infertility) undergoing IVF/ICSI. The collect

Objective: To evaluate the functional outcomes after extended curettage and reconstruction using a combination of bone graft and bone cement (sandwich). Methodology: In this prospective case series 16 skeletally mature patients with primary giant cell tumor around the knee were included. Patients with previous surgically treated, malignant transformation, degenerative knee changes and those presenting with pathological fracture were excluded. The tumor was excised with bone graft filling space beneath the articular cartilage and a block of gel foam was placed over the cortical surface of picked bone graft. Remaining cavity was filled with polymethylmethacrylate cement (sandwich) with or without internal fixation. The func tional evaluation
