In this work Aquatic plant (Nile rose) was used to study adsorption of industrial dye (safranin-O from aqueous solution within several operation conditions. The dried leaves of Nile rose plant were used as adsorbents safranin-O from aqueous solution after different activations such as wet and dry enhancements. The data show increasing in dye solution removal percentage for both activation methods of the adsorbent and also dye removal percentage that was obtained by using adsorbent without any treatment with the progress contact time. Emulsion Liquid Membrane (ELM) is an emerging technology that removes contaminants from water and industrial wastewater. This study investigated the stability and extraction efficiency of ELM for the removal of Chlorpyrifos Pesticide (CP) from wastewater. The stability was studied in terms of emulsion breakage. The proposed ELM included n-hexane as a diluent, span-80 as a surfactant, and hydrochloric acid (HCl) as a stripping agent. Parameters such as mixing speed, aqueous feed solution pH, internal-to-organic membrane volume ratio, and external-to-emulsion volume ratio were investigated. A fast laser texturing technique has been utilized to produce micro/nano surface textures in Silicon by means of UV femtosecond laser. We have prepared good absorber surface for photovoltaic cells. The textured Silicon surface absorbs the incident light greater than the non-textured surface. The results show a photovoltaic current increase about 21.3% for photovoltaic cell with two-dimensional pattern as compared to the same cell without texturing.
