This research is an initial attempt to explore the reality of education and its concept in Islam, and to describe the presence of educational practices in the Arab-Islamic heritage. The importance of this research lies in addressing a set of important issues related to the contemporary Islamic educational system. The research revealed the extent of the need for authentic educational values that draw their reference from the origins of Islam, and it emphasized the analysis of the reality of education in the Islamic world and the identification of its problems and the finding of solutions through a quick and comprehensive look at the diverse contributions of Muslimthinkers to Islamic educational thought, and their active role in addressing the issues of education and linking it to its intellectual and realistic framework in the Islamic society. The research was distinguished by diagnosing and analyzing the concept of the educational system in Islam around the education and teaching, and highlighting its importance in the new and contemporary educational system.The research also dealt with the role of human values in the Islamic educational system. It also revealedthe characteristics of Islamic values, and the most important sources of social values. The research concluded with the method of Al_Tabatabai, which was characterized by both scientific and objective methods.

Hydrophobic silica aerogels were successfully preparation by an ambient pressure drying method from sodium silicate (Na2SiO3) with different pH values (5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10). In this study, acidic HCl (1M), a basic NH4OH (1M) were selected as a catalyst to perform the surface modification in a TMCS (trimethylchlorosilane) solution. The current study aimed to reveal the moral values available in the Arabic language textbook (Al-Mu’nes) for grades eleven and twelve for post-basic education in the Sultanate of Oman. The researcher adopted the descriptive approach using the sentence as measuring unit in the analysis process. The five fields of moral values and their subcategories values represented the categories of the analysis. Iterations of values and the percentages of iteration were calculated in those textbooks.
