The major cause of destruction during vertical vibration is the failure of the soil structure. The soil may fail due to loss of strength during continues vibration. The saturated sandy soil losses strength due to an increase in pore pressure, this phenomenon is called "liquefaction". Piled foundations are usually adopted as a foundation solution in potentially liquefiable soil under dynamic loading. In this research, 3D finite element model using PLAXIS Software was employed for pile foundation in saturated sandy soil. The results show the acceleration mobilization and velocity on the footing increases with increasing the intensity of dynamic loads and it becomes zero at maximum value of vertical settlement which indicates the end of the time and intensity of dynamic loads applied. On the other hand, the excess pore pressure increases with increasing the dynamic loads as well as it can be noticed that under the influence of each load the excess pore pressure increases with depth. At low dynamic load level, the liquefaction was not occurred (ru<1) while with high dynamic load, high produced vertical settlement causes that the liquefaction to be occurs (ru> 1). The zone of liquefaction below the foundation cap under dynamic load produce high vertical settlement and more than the permissible settlement without piles is about (0.7 B). The effect of an increase in the number of piles leads to decrease in the vertical settlement and the excess pore pressure decreases, the decrease becomes apparent when the number of piles increases to (8 piles) or more, as well the relationship is approximately linear between the excess pore pressure and effective stress The zone of liquefaction begins to decrease as the number of piles increases, when the number of piles are equal or more than (8 piles), the liquidation of soil has not occurs and the value of pore pressure ratio is becomes (ru<1). The pile foundation which produces vertical settlement more than the allowable settlement leads to mobilize the phenomenon of liquefaction to occur. A relationship to estimate the number of piles below the cap to prevent the liquefaction was obtained.
The use analysis value chain such information in the provision as financial so information quality meet and satisfy the needs of users such information , particularly investors and lenders as the identification needs financial information and the knowledge as their behavior influenced by that information can be based on the accounting profession to focus on improving their function in order to achieve its goal that satisfying their needs and rationalize their decisions . In accounting thought discovered fertile ground for users preferences as one of the entrances theorising positive which is based on the need to include knowledge on accounting hypothesis that explain the

Show MoreThin-walled members are increasingly used in structural applications, especially in light structures like in constructions and aircraft structures because of their high strength-to-weight ratio. Perforations are often made on these structures for reducing weight and to facilitate the services and maintenance works like in aircraft wing ribs. This type of structures suffers from buckling phenomena due to its dimensions, and this suffering increases with the presence of holes in it. This study investigated experimentally and numerically the buckling behavior of aluminum alloy 6061-O thin-walled lipped channel beam with specific holes subjected to compression load. A nonlinear finite elements analysis was used to obtain the

To achieve this goal, a list of 21st century skills to be included in the chemistry book for the third grade was built after a series of literature, research and previous studies, as the 21st century skills tool was built with its main and sub-skills in its initial form consisted of (68) indicators distributed in three main groups and presented the list to a group of specialists in the field of curriculum and teaching methods, Thus the tool was formed in its final form of (59) subissue, and then analyzed the content of the chemistry book for the third grade intermediate
... Show MoreThere has been a growing interest in the use of chaotic techniques for enabling secure communication in recent years. This need has been motivated by the emergence of a number of wireless services which require the channel to provide low bit error rates (BER) along with information security. The aim of such activity is to steal or distort the information being conveyed. Optical Wireless Systems (basically Free Space Optic Systems, FSO) are no exception to this trend. Thus, there is an urgent necessity to design techniques that can secure privileged information against unauthorized eavesdroppers while simultaneously protecting information against channel-induced perturbations and errors. Conventional cryptographic techniques are not designed

Materials and method: Forty eight maxillary first premolars were prepared with MOD cavities. Samples were divided into three groups of sixteen teeth according to material used: Grandio: Grandio. SDR: SDR +Grandio. X-tra: X-tra base + Grandio. Each group was subdivided into two according to be thermocycled or not. After 24 hrs immersion in 2% methylene blue, samples weresectioned and microleakage was estimated. Res

This paper considers a new Double Integral transform called Double Sumudu-Elzaki transform DSET. The combining of the DSET with a semi-analytical method, namely the variational iteration method DSETVIM, to arrive numerical solution of nonlinear PDEs of Fractional Order derivatives. The proposed dual method property decreases the number of calculations required, so combining these two methods leads to calculating the solution's speed. The suggested technique is tested on four problems. The results demonstrated that solving these types of equations using the DSETVIM was more advantageous and efficient
