This study deals with 3rd-order difference equations with alternating coefficients (NDEAC) with a focus on studying the oscillatory properties of their solutions. An additional sufficient condition can be derived to ensure continuity for the oscillatory solution in equations. An applied example is presented to illustrate the theoretical result obtained.
This article introduces a novel procedure to detect an approximate solution to Fredholm fractional integro-differential equations with linear type (LFFIDE) defined using Caputo fractional derivative. The new procedure approximates the solution using three types of polynomials: Laguerre polynomials, Hermite polynomials, and Legendre polynomials, thereafter transforming the problem into a linear programming problem. The approximate solutions are compared using testing examples to examine the efficiency of the suggested approach. Also, a comparison with the other methods using the same polynomials illustrates The effectiveness and consistency of the proposed technique. Finally, the error analysis of the proposed technique and convergent are di

The control design specifications that must be achieved by the control system are gain crossover frequency, phase margin, and peak magnitude at the resonant frequency, where the latter is a new design specification suggested by this paper. These specifications results in three equations in five unknown variables. Assuming that certain relations exist between two variables and discretizing one of them, a performance index can be evaluated and the optimal controller parameters that minimize this performance index are selected. Many biochemical changes occur in plants as a response to water stress, such as activation of antioxidant systems. Molybdenum (Mo) plays an important part in activating the expression of many enzymes, such as CAT, POD, and SOD, as well as increasing the proline content. Mo therefore supports the defence system in plants and plays an important role in the defence system of mung bean plants growing under water stress conditions. Four concentrations of Mo (0, 15, 30, and 45 mg·L−1) were applied to plants, using two approaches: (a) seed soaking and (b) foliar application. Mung bean plants were subject
