Metals are vital cellular components chosen by nature to perform various critical metabolic activities in living beings. Metal complexes are keys in catalysis, material production, photochemistry, and biological systems. Many studies were conducted to determine their role in biological processes. Transition metal complexes are becoming more important as therapeutic compounds due to their role in inorganic chemistry. Recent advances in inorganic chemistry have created transition metal complexes with target organic ligands that may be therapeutic. Researchers interested in medical applications may find this study useful since it highlights the importance of metals and current developments in medicinal chemistry, such as new approaches to creating medicines based on metals.
Sensibly highlighting the hidden structures of many real-world networks has attracted growing interest and triggered a vast array of techniques on what is called nowadays community detection (CD) problem. Non-deterministic metaheuristics are proved to competitively transcending the limits of the counterpart deterministic heuristics in solving community detection problem. Despite the increasing interest, most of the existing metaheuristic based community detection (MCD) algorithms reflect one traditional language. Generally, they tend to explicitly project some features of real communities into different definitions of single or multi-objective optimization functions. The design of other operators, however, remains canonical lacking any inte

The designing and synthesis of compound VI and VIII derived from 6-Mercaptopurine (6-MP) and Methotrexate ( MTX) conjugate altogether as mutual prodrugs were processed forward successfully by multistep reaction procedures , and by Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) for
... Show MoreOver the past few years, ear biometrics has attracted a lot of attention. It is a trusted biometric for the identification and recognition of humans due to its consistent shape and rich texture variation. The ear presents an attractive solution since it is visible, ear images are easily captured, and the ear structure remains relatively stable over time. In this paper, a comprehensive review of prior research was conducted to establish the efficacy of utilizing ear features for individual identification through the employment of both manually-crafted features and deep-learning approaches. The objective of this model is to present the accuracy rate of person identification systems based on either manually-crafted features such as D
... Show MoreSubcutaneous vascularization has become a new solution for identification management over the past few years. Systems based on dorsal hand veins are particularly promising for high-security settings. The dorsal hand vein recognition system comprises the following steps: acquiring images from the database and preprocessing them, locating the region of interest, and extracting and recognizing information from the dorsal hand vein pattern. This paper reviewed several techniques for obtaining the dorsal hand vein area and identifying a person. Therefore, this study just provides a comprehensive review of existing previous theories. This model aims to offer the improvement in the accuracy rate of the system that was shown in previous studies and
... Show MoreA growing and pressing need for Speech Enhancement Algorithms (SEAs) has emerged with the proliferation of hearing devices and mobile devices that aim to improve speech intelligibility without sacrificing speech quality. Recently, a tremendous number of studies have been conducted in the field of speech enhancement. This study aims to map the field of speech enhancement by conducting a systematic literature review to provide comprehensive details of recently proposed SEAs. This systematic review aims to highlight research trends in SEAs and direct researchers to the most important topics published between 2015 and 2024. It attempts to address seven key research questions related to this topic. Moreover, it covers articles available
... Show MoreThis paper explores VANET topics: architecture, characteristics, security, routing protocols, applications, simulators, and 5G integration. We update, edit, and summarize some of the published data as we analyze each notion. For ease of comprehension and clarity, we give part of the data as tables and figures. This survey also raises issues for potential future research topics, such as how to integrate VANET with a 5G cellular network and how to use trust mechanisms to enhance security, scalability, effectiveness, and other VANET features and services. In short, this review may aid academics and developers in choosing the key VANET characteristics for their objectives in a single document.
